Ayame blinked at her retainer’s movements. Meisha was known for her occasional dramatics but none such as this. However, as the other began to speak a warm expression took a hold. This is so like her retainer to do. “Meisha...”

Raising it to the others forehead, the woman flicked it with her middle finger. “Just what are you playing at Meisha?”

Did her lone retrainer think her a fool? She may no long be a queen of a nation but that did not mean she was naive enough to fall for such a ploy. Asking for her hand in marriage was what gave it away. Ayame rubbed the bridge of her nose.“I appreciate the attempt to lighten the mood however.”

He was a prince from another land fighting in a war that he had no place in. And though Ayame strived to not thin of it in too much detail she was admittedly curious. How was he adapting to this world? Was Ylisse alright without him? Why hadn’t he returned to his realm? He would have his own reason of course but she couldn’t help but selfishly want the man to disappear from her very sight.

Chrom’s presence brought about many feelings that she as Ayame did not wish to dwell on. Longing, regret, sadness...all of Sumia’s old emotions that stemmed from from this one man visage made being near him painful. So from the very moment he joined their ‘merry’ little trope she was adamant to avoid him at all times where it was possible. Until the most recent war council revealed that shewould be paired alongside the lord in the next battle.

And at that point she had to at least in make herself known to him.

Once the meeting was adjourned the knight waited until most of the others had left to make her approach.

“Milord,” The brunette called stiffly. “I believe we will be working alongside one another in the next coming battle.” Raising the flat of her palm to her chest the kinsh knight bowed to the man as she introduced herself. “I am Ayame, it is an honour.”

Once a queen of Ylisse, Sumia lives under the alias of Ayame as a kinshi knight living within the kingdom of Izumo with her retrainer Meisha.

Arriving via the outer realm gates she arrived to the kingdom 5 years prior to the event of fates and made a simple living by selling her flower fortunes and spreading good luck to the people within the kingdom much similarly to what she had done when queen of ylisse. Given her experience and knack with animals she was able to excel quickly through the ranks however, she chose to take up the class of kinshi knight rather than a falcon knight as a method of separating herself from who she once was but, still allowing her to fight within the skies.

As such she does not have access to the sky knight base class.

Ayame does not get directly involved with the war between Hoshido and Nohr until after the arrival of the Nohrian forces. Once the false Izana has been dealt with she takes her leave from Izumo to join the Hoshidan forces. Comparatively, having come from the future where Grima was awakened, as Ayame she is outwardly sterner than she was as Sumia and views war as even more pointless than she did before. The only reason she ended up fighting in the war in the first place was because it came to Izumo’s borders despite it’s status as a neutral kingdom.
