Maleficent Crossbody Bag

Needed a new crossbody bag so I decided to take a simple black one and turn it into this. The wings, tail, and horns were all handmade with a custom paintjob to match. Turns out, I really like using fabric paint.

Planning out a project before starting it is a vital skill that students need to practice. This is a collection of project plans for my advanced art classes so students can see the learning goals and how to execute them while allowing creative liberties.

“Don’t teach something you haven’t learned yourself.” I can’t expect my students to improve their observational drawing skills unless I teach them how and show them clear examples of what it looks like. NGL, this was a fun exercise for me.
