Who else's Friday night is panning out like mine? A rainy night full of popcorn and catching up on Mr. Robot. #sorryfreakumdress But I am AW-KEW-PIED with this Sriracha and Ginger Candied Popcorn 👏 I put my last cup of ginger caramel to good use, and combined it with sea salt and Sriracha and popped the corn kernels in sesame oil! So so good 😋For friends who can relate, here's the recipe: Combine the follow ingredients in a bowl. 1 cup ginger caramel 2 tbsp of Sriracha 2 tbsp light corn syrup 1 and 1/2 tsp sea salt 1 tbsp of sesame oil In a large heavy bottom pot with lid heat 1tbsp sesame oil and 1tbsp of canola oil and 3/4 cup of unpopped popcorn kernels over high heat, cooking and shaking constantly (about 3-5min) Once popped, remove pan from heat, and transfer kernels onto a lightly oiled and lined baking dish. Drizzle with caramel sauce and bake in a 300 degree oven for 10-15 or until crunchy and golden. Cheers! #Happy Friday! 😍

I'll shamelessly admit that I've been waiting all week for brunch. I bought a bushel of rosemary and knew it'd go great in a Sunday skillet potato dish. I may have lost all sense in my nose, (still sniffly), but I declare I smell a hint of that strong, earthy rosemary and that sautéed garlic!! 😏 Red Potato And Rosemary Hash (+arugula, sundried tomatoes and shaved Parmesan) 😛 #highlightofmyweek Happy Brunchin' friends! :)

Eric brought home a cold, and now we're both sickly. It feels like 20 lbs weights are anchored to my arms and legs! But through our fogginess and misery we had a brilliant craving for brownies! And when I'm sick, and there's only one thing that will make me smile, there's no arguing with me. So the deal was, I'd roll out of bed to bake them, and Eric would roll out of bed to do the honorary drizzle. #notafairtrade But what else were we gonna do with the rest of all that ginger caramel?! I just invented this recipe with my fingers crossed, but truthfully these are the best brownies I've ever had !!💓 #recoveryfood #caramelbrownies #dairyfree 1 cup of sugar 3 eggs 1/4 tsp of kosher salt 2 tsp of vanilla extract 1 cup cake flour 1/2 of cocoa powder 7 oz of semisweet chocolate 1/2 cup of coconut cream 1 tbsp of fresh ground coffee beans Whip together the sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla until thick and creamy. In a double boiler melt the chocolate. Once melted remove from heat and add in the coconut cream and coffee and stir until well combined. Sift together cocoa power and flour. Allow the melted chocolate to cool a little or temper it with the egg and sugar mixture. Fold in the flour with a wooden spoon or plastic spatula (don't over mix) and bake in a buttered and lined cake pan in a preheated 325 degree F oven until cooked through. #enjoy #smalltasteofchocolate
I'll just be here... all day...munching on sweet crunchy apples dipped in this (vegan) Ginger Caramel Sauce 👏🍂🍁 and working on the blog ☺️ #joyofthekitchen 1 cup of granulated sugar 1 tbsp of real maple syrup 1 tsp of fresh grated ginger root 2 tbsp of coconut cream 1/2 tsp of salt 3 tbsp of unsweetened vanilla almond milk Stir the sugar, syrup, salt and grated ginger together in a medium saucepan on the stovetop on medium high heat, then let it caramelize and boil without mixing, just shake the pot occasionally. Once it's bubbling (about 7 minutes) and turns a consistent dark deep brown throughout the pot, remove it from the heat, add the coconut cream and the milk, and stir it together (it may help to use a candy thermometer just in case). Transfer it to a container to cool and thicken until you're ready to serve! #enjoy
