An explosion near a park in the Pakistani city of Lahore killed at least 50 people Sunday and injured dozens more, local officials reported.

The blast occurred Sunday evening at the main gate to Gulshan-e-Iqbal park.

This cartoon by artist Plantu depicting France offering solace to Belgium has become a symbol of solidarity after the Brussels attacks Tuesday morning. Brussels and Paris have been bound by the Paris attacks in November as many of the attackers had links to Brussels.
