i’ve always sorta brute forced art. like yeah in middle school i had all of those god-awful how to draw anime books, but beyond that i haven’t done anything outside of basic art class, and have essentially just tried shit until it looked like a person. for whatever reason, for years, i’ve never drawn with a reference, and have recently been realizing that i actually suck balls at everything and should start putting in effort to actually learn the basics so i can improve.

anyway. today i practiced hatching with a reference by drawing gay people. everyone please clap
