I finally finished the series, and now I can confidently say that I really loved it.

The first two books felt a little heavy on political intrigue for me, but by the third one everything clicked into place. The characters had room to grow, their motivations finally made complete sense, and the ending felt incredibly satisfying.

And, of course… I’m completely in love with Jude and Cardan. ❤️

Another wonderful fictional couple has found a permanent place in my heart.

I only had time to make this quick sketch, but I really wanted to share my excitement before moving on to other work. I hope I’ll come back to it later and turn it into a finished illustration.

I love the way he acts. The way he laughs when hes nervous. The way his tail exposes how he feels. The way his hair dark hair curls slightly. The way his closet is full of extravagant clothes. The way he drinks to conceal his problems because he wasnt taught how to properly.

I love how he treats me right. How while almost dying still devoting himself and loving me.

I bought a shirt which looks like one cardan would wear for a party!! (I inspired my outfit off what cardan would wear featuring a corset) the party is fantasy themed so obvs I have to dress like my husband (my friend knows I love cardan not that I yumeship with him)
