“It drives me mildly insane what they're doing with Daryl's story arc. I don't know why they had to play with the idea of giving him a love interest, especially if they were never going to completely commit to it. He had gone throughout most of the show not indicating at all that he was ever interested in anyone. Then suddenly in season 10, during that time he was on his own, he has that relationship with Leah, which ultimately didn't go anywhere. And then they set it up like he's going to get with Connie, but then she is presumed dead, and when we FINALLY see them reunite again in season 11, it's just like, "No way!" and that's it?? I feel like the show is just cutting off lose ends to certain storylines because they're too preoccupied with ending the season. But it doesn't make sense why they would even go that route if they weren't going to actually do anything with it.”
