One of my favorite promos for the final season
I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but I'm happy to announce that I will be posting content again. So I'll be posting a few new things in the coming days.
things which, if Beth is really dead, make basically no fucking sense and for which I demand an explanation
Theme music, for a character more closely associated with music than any other fucking character on the show.
No funeral whatsoever when it would have been unbelievably easy to show at least a few seconds of one in the cold open for 5x09, when instead we got a big switcheroo with Tyreese’s funeral and Nicotero fucking said as much.
Why the fuck we were shown any of that shit at all, none of that made any sense but seemed to be hinting at sense quite a bit.
Why are key people freaked out about cars in 5x09 and 5x10, I mean Daryl won’t even go near them at that one point, he just looks upset and vanishes into the woods with no explanation to speak of which no one appears to find strange.
The BETH GREENE IS STRONG campaign in 4b/5a which was not even remotely subtle.
The ship, which - I’m sorry - was decidedly sailing. The champagne wasn’t dry yet but it was fucking sailing.
The fake death/survival themes which crossed over at several points into outright foreshadowing.
The DC spoon.
“She’s just gone.” Over and fucking over.
The promo blitz for Beth’s 5a arc, in isolation from all other characters, which I’m pretty sure is unprecedented for a swiftly-offed mostly secondary character.
The blatantly obvious Andrea parallels.
The relentless Christ imagery.
Pretty much all of Slabtown, like its very existence.
Pretty much all of Grady, like its very existence.
Pretty much all of the writing, and do not fucking tell me that Beth’s death was just meant to be shocking and tragic; as a shocker it mostly failed because I think a lot of people were expecting Beth to bite it and as tragedy it was literally unbelievable failure on the part of people who know how to do tragedy quite well and have an excellent track record of doing so.
The clocks, which were tied to Beth and really no other character.
“People like me, they can live!”
The music box, and do not fucking tell me it only represented “hope” because that’s stupid and also we’ve basically had it confirmed that it represented Beth and as of the s5 SF it was still playing/singing.
The fact that subtle references to her keep showing up long after her plot was supposed to be done, usually in close connection with Daryl.
All the weird shit with the stuff that was allegedly filmed during shooting for s5 that we never saw.
Where the fuck are those hundreds of walkers Nicotero mentioned, you don’t just throw something like that onto the cutting room floor, and no it does not make any sense for him to have been referring to the herd in s6 because as far as we know they hadn’t filmed any of that yet.
Emily did no episode commentary for what was supposedly her last season on the show.
It took Emily forever and a day to join the cast of another show on any kind of permanent basis when she was well-situated to do so and should have immediately jumped to something else pretty major, with an audience similar to TWD’s, and sure okay maybe she doesn’t want to be typecasted but come the fuck on.
She won’t stop talking about Beth and won’t stop promoting herself in close connection to the show when it makes sense for her to be dialing it back at least a fucking little if she wants to move on with her career.
Gimple essentially pulling the same exact shit as what Mazzara did with Andrea/Laurie Holden, for which he had a front row seat for how unpleasant it almost certainly was and was in fact called in to fix the script for.
Despite all the TWD-related promo Emily hasn’t had a single fucking panel on the subject in an entire year and appears to only be willing to discuss it in settings where it’s possible to tightly control what she’s asked and will say and even then she doesn’t say much beyond canned lines and vague stuff we’ve heard a million times.
Frequent neglect of including her character in memoriam-type stuff on behalf of entities officially connected with the show.
All these figures of Beth being released concurrently a year after her death when it would have made endlessly more sense to release them at this point last year and for which they probably had ample preparation time.
Sure, not all of this necessarily means anything and there are explanations you could come up with for at least some of this stuff, and things in life are often simply inexplicable. But this is a fucking mountain. And instead of eroding with time, it just keeps getting higher.
Exactly Beth has to be alive somehow #teamdelusional #bethgreenelives
Sometimes I need to read this again and think about everything.
This is so great, & I am so happy. This is the Reunion we have all been waiting for. Emily had Norman as a guest on her Podcast. I've not gotten a chance to listen to it yet but I'll be able to once I get off work and I'll be sure to make a post about my thoughts on it later tonight.
I watched the Walking Dead Holiday Special last night and here are some of my thoughts.
1. It was so nice seeing Emily singing in the special. I was smiling & happy for the entire time.
2. Chris Hardwick mentioned reuniting the greene sisters and although it wasn't an in person reunion, seeing Emily and Lauren together made me so happy.
Just look at them!!
3. There was also a behind the scenes picture that was shown of Emily & Lauren. Looking at the clothes Emily is wearing in the picture I immediately recognized that it was from season 3 episode one.
Image from Season 3 episode 1.
Behind the scenes picture from season 3 episode 1
3. They also featured these two cast group pictures.
The thing that I found to be most suspicious about the Holiday Special, is that out of all the walking dead cast members I think its interesting that everyone else who was featured in the Holiday Special are still currently on the show. Out of all the former cast members I find it odd that they chose both Emily Kinney and IronE Singleton.
I have a strong feeling, that it is because they want Beth to be fresh on viewers minds for when the show starts back up.
Omg Emily's podcast is back for it's second season and she will be having some of her Walking Dead co stars as guests. The first one came out today December 8th, and her first guest is Lauren Cohan!! I'm currently listening to it right now and if anything stands out to me I'll be sure to make a post.
Emily Kinney behind the scenes of The Walking Dead Season 5
I can't believe that it's been six years ago today that Coda aired. So In honor of today being the 6th year anniversary. I want to know what your favorite Beth Greene scene was.
When it comes to Dwight and Sherry's relationship and reunion in season 6 of FTWD I'll go into more detail in my actual post. But for now I want to focus on their reunion scene from episode 3, and how I hope Daryl and Beth's reunion scene is similar.
Out of the six additional episodes that will air as the 3rd half of season 10 in 2021, two of them have caught my eye, and are giving me hope.
A few things I want to point out about 10×18
*The title of 10×18 being Find Me.
*It says they come across an old cabin, which reminds me of the moonshine shack they burned down.
A few things I want to point out about 10x21
*Seeing it say that Daryl and Carol come to a fork in the road and head their separate ways makes me wonder if Daryl will come across Beth.
*The mention of the term Survival mode, reminds me of Beth and Daryl with their survival mode back in season 4.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the last 6 episode titles and descriptions for season 10! Sounds very interesting. I'm still hoping we get some sign of beth. Or mention. A flashback to the missing 17 days would be the next best thing to actually seeing her. Fingers crossed 🤞
I don’t know that I have tons to say that hasn’t already been said or that you aren’t already thinking. (I’ve trained you well, Grasshoppers! 😆)
The titles definitely stick out to me. I talked about the Home Sweet Home title HERE. That’s important because it’s something Daryl actually said in Still. Find me also gives me tingles. And I’m seeing that some people aren’t happy about that episode because it’s a Daryl/Carol heavy episode, but I disagree.
That description alone has TD symbolism in it (cabin, anyone?) and we haven’t watched the episode yet! I get that it says Daryl hearkens back to the time after Rick left, so that inherently won’t be a Beth thing, but at the same time, Beth and Rick symbolism are very entwined. So I’m looking forward to that episode because I think it’s the kind we’ll be analyzing for days!
If there was ever a time Daryl will talk about Beth, this will probably be it. And understand, I’m not super getting my hopes up about that. He never has before. I’m just saying it’s a possibility.
I do also think this episode may be something of a setup for the spinoff. But once again, I think the spinoff will have everything to do with Beth, so...
Yeah. That’s about all I got. I’m looking forward to these episodes immensely, though. Xoxo! 😍

Exactly Beth has to be alive somehow #teamdelusional #bethgreenelives
hi!!!!if you have the time for it can you make a big list of proofs that beth is alive i begin to convince one of my friend that beth is alive i need this list to finish the work ;) sorry for bad english i'm french
Hello!!! Your English is fine, don’t worry! If I can read it, it’s all cool. ❤️
Okay here goes (these are the most blatantly obvious ones that I feel stand out the most overall):
• The theme song played at the end of the episode, exactly like it did for Glenn’s fake out death. So if we take into account what that meant, then surely for Beth it must be the same?
• Missing three weeks/17 days that we still have to canon explanation to. Seriously, that should be enough of a warning sign on its own. You don’t end on a cliffhanger like that, leaving the audience with bated breath, then jump a few weeks and give zero comment about what happened during the missing time frame. That’s not ‘something irrelevant being skipped’, or ‘just the group mourning’… That’s something that’s been hidden. Intentionally.
• Where is the body? And no, things said about supposed ‘cut funerals’ in interviews about it don’t count (nothing has even been said anyway). Where the hell did they put her after Daryl walked out carrying her into the parking lot in 5.08? If they’d buried her, we’d know. they bury goats for fuck sake and show it too And there’s also the fact that they failed to give her a funeral, it’s the fact that they tricked us into thinking Tyreese’s was hers. They mislead us, and there’s a reason for that.
• Cancelled panels and radio silence from those behind the show, and vague replies to genuine questions on the subject. If she’s dead, why not just come out and say it? Why?
• The music box springing to life at the end of 5.10. If the music box isn’t a denotation of Beth, then what the hell was the purpose of that happening?
• Beth’s parallels to Comic Andrea (facial scars, headshot, etc.)
• Finance. Let’s be honest, amc is a fucking cheap organisation. They wouldn’t go and build an entire set for one ‘minor’ character that didn’t even live to the end of the arc, and then never re-visit it or get really anything out of it since Noah died a few episodes later as well. You know what that is? It’s the opposite of profit. It’s loss. Can you really afford to make a loss in a business like this? No. You can’t.
• The group’s skittishness around cars. What’s that about?
• The blonde walker locked up in the trunk, which Lauren Cohan confirmed to remind Maggie of Beth. She also said that the blonde ballerina in the music box represented Beth, so there’s that.
• The angle of shooting in 5.08 and how it would’ve been so much easier to edit the bullet going up through her chin like so many people thought it did. Honestly. The fact that they purposefully made the angle survivable when it would have been easier to make it fatal… That speaks volumes.
• General ambiguity around the subject - onscreen and offscreen. Beth still hasn’t been described as ‘dead’ by any character or actor/producer. Instead we get things like: “gone”, “lost”, “shot in the head”, tweets with gifs asking: “Who really shot Beth Greene?”, etc.
What happened to her?
If you ever find yourself in doubt of Beth’s survival… Look back at this list and ask yourself: Why do we still have all these things unanswered? Why is there still so much that is unsaid and unseen?
I hope this sufficiently does the job!❤️
Yes so true. NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!
My META Prologue: Beth’s Growth Through The Years (Season 2 - Season 5)
This is just to show the major changes this character went through mentally and physically. Not really a META per say but I just wanted to make it.

Lack of visibility on social media by TBTB
Lack of interviews
Lack of visibility at conventions (SDCC)
We have been told so many times to look for the clues and encouraged to figure out the mystery.
We aren’t making these connections loosely, they are based on actual supported evidence in the show, and by TPTB
That’s all I can think about right now on my break but I’ll be adding to this as I go. Feel free to add your reasons!
● The amount of time and money they undoubtedly put into the Grady arc seemingly just to kill her off and have Team Family meet Noah. They could easily have accomplished both of those things with far less effort.
● The fact that they let Emily broadcast her whereabouts on social media all through last season, yet this season she’s been much more quiet.
● Where are those 800 walkers GN said were used in the filming of the MSF?
● The Bethfoot picture
● All of the religious imagery used to imply that Beth was a Christ figure and that we would see a resurrection.
● Beth’s storyline is clearly patterned after The Heroine’s Journey.
● The fact that the WSC guys said that AMC canceled Emily’s first post-“Coda” panel (and possibly each canceled panel since).
● No response from TPTB when it comes to the (very visible) Bring Beth Back campaign, or the (very vocal) Team Delusional.
● *does best saywhatjenn impression* The theme song played at the end of “Coda”!
Yup! So many reasons!
Being on Team delusional forever
We are closer then ever before, and here is why.
I'll start off my post with the lyrics to Emily's new song called The Turtle and The Monkey. The version used in the episode has a slight variation from the lyrics and is sung by a male but it's her song.
I'm a lamb if you love me, but a lion if you poke and if we're gonna be laughin' I would like to be in on the joke
Sometimes I think you show me scabs just to tempt me to tear 'em away Makin' me draw blood, will never make me want to stay
Oh, it's sad but true, love is never enough And after just a few months we are not immune oh, we used to stay up late starin' in each other's eyes Now I'm wakin' early to call you up and apologize
I'm a turtle in the woods stickin' to my path you're like a monkey in the trees jumpin' from branch to branch I love the way you move, I love the way you Rock n' Roll but high jumpin' for a turtle is bound to take it's toll
Oh, it's sad but true, love is never enough and after just a few months we are not immune oh, we used to stay up late starin' in each other's eyes
Now I'm wakin' early to call you up and apologize and oh oh, it's a cold hard fact
We've served some colorful vocabulary, baby, that we can't take back
And oh oh, we used to hold each other tight under the sparkling trees
And oh oh, now you're beggin' for me back on your scraped up knees
And oh, oh, we used to spend all night starin' in each other's eyes Now I'm wakin' early to call you up and apologize
Back in the 3rd season we saw Beth singing twice, In season 4 was saw her sing twice again, and then in season 5 we saw her sing once.
Some might forget that Emily also sang in the trailer for the back half of season 6
Bonus- If you would like more info on this point you can search through @bethgreeneishopeunseen for a more in detail report.
The Songs Beth sang in chronological order are as follows
Season 3 episode 1-The Parting Glass, Beth sang this for the group before the cleared the prison. Daryl was present for this and it's the first time he hears her sing.
Season 3 episode 11-Hold On, Beth sang this song for the group as well when they were living at the prison Daryl is also there during Beth's song, which makes it the 2nd time he hears her sing. In addition to Daryl, Michonne is also there.
Season 4 episode 2-I Don't Wanna Grow Up, Beth is seen singing this to Judith at while she walks by Michonne's cell, Not only does this makes Michonne's 2nd time hearing Beth sing it is one of their only interactions between the two of them.
Season 4 episode 13-Be Good This marks the 3rd time Daryl hears Beth sing.
Season 5 episode 9-Struggling Man this song is durring Tyreese's, hallucination
Something I want to point out is that Daryl has heard Beth singing 3 times. I think that it would be cool if Daryl hears her singing and that is how they reunite
We also received a portrait of Beth back in season 9 at Hilltop based on a image of her from season 4 when she was on the run with Daryl after the prison fell. Still yet again it's another reminder of beth.
Also in season 9 Emily Kinney recorded a voice over line for Rick's final episode, in which Beth asks Rick "what's your wound" While Rick is experiencing his hallucination
I think it's interesting that Beth connects to both Tyreese's and Rick's hallucination
Also in the episode we see Beth's body although it's a body double and not Emily Kinney. However there is blood on her arm but not her head wound which is very suspicious
Side Profile of Beth and Amber
So now let's talk about some other things like Beth's proxy Amber and the unidentified blonde with the braid from the Sanctuary.
When it comes to Negan's wives Frankie is dead, and Sherry is out on her own around the area where Fear The Walking Dead takes place. Which leaves the whereabouts of both Amber and Tanya unknown. Which makes me wonder if Beth might have came across them somehow at some point.
The writers clearly want us to remember Beth and that's why they are referencing her with a Beth proxy so much.
I believe right now the significance of Emily's new song being featured is yet again a point in which they don't want us to forget her so they are of course leaving us clues.
Plus Angela Kang who is The Walking Dead's current Showrunner since last season, and the fact that she is responsible for some of the Bethyl storylines. So it would make even more sense for her to bring Beth back into the fold.
So now I only have one las point to make, but before I get to that I want to point out that the last time we saw Beth was in season 5 and we are now at the 10th season so I have a feeling everything has come full circle.
Here are Emily's two posts about her new song being featured in episode 5 of season 10.
To close out the post by hearing her song being used I have 3 different theories about when we could possibly see Beth again.
At the end of episode 8 of season 10, which would be a cliffhanger to keep us talking till February.
The mid-season premiere episode 9 of season 10
The Season finale of season 10 which would also be a bigger cliffhanger
This is one of my favorite posts I've made, so I decided to dig it back up from the archives.
