I've not seen either Obsession nor Backrooms [& I'm not sure if I ever will cuoz Im a hïpstêr] but I do appreciate that they can be arguably described as feminist films abt what occurs when a self-destructive man forces his presence ona self-controlled & willful woman. And even better is that the films were made by up-&-coming male film directors who already have a successful background of storytelling, so the chudcels can't twist the narrative into idealisms of male destruction. it was one of your own. suffer & watch it. & learn something
