So… it was a good run. We got a decent amount of members throughout our time here, but the group hasn’t been able to be as active as it could have been. With only one member, myself, in the group and with being unable to gain no new members to replace the ones that have left, it seems like it’s time to shut down. There’s nothing to be done, and I’m happy with what this group was. I don’t see a point in continuing the group now.

Thank everyone who made it a fun experience for me.

Made a slight change to the rules. I realized my wording didn’t match what I exactly wanted.

Posting unrelated things to your RP blog is now prohibited instead of only being allowed if posted rarely enough.

Personal posts are not affected. Reblogs that remind you of your muse/are you muse/etc are allowed.

The Midnight Tribune, 4/6/22.

MOBSTER SHOOTOUT AT LOCAL BANK

“Midnight City's historic Midnight Bank, better know as the Downtown Bank, was the victim of an attempted robbery by the vicious Midnight Crew. Around 8:31 A.M., the Midnight Crew entered the facility, holding the bank clerks and its customers at gunpoint in exchange for a currently undisclosed sum.

However, this was not the end of the nightmare for the bank patrons, as soon the Midnight Crew’s supposed rivals, the Felt, started a confrontation with the crew resulting in a shootout. Innocent citizens and employees ran for cover as bullets rained across the bank, damaging much of the property in the process, resulting in thousands in damages.

Soon after, the police arrived on scene opened fire on the Felt and Crew members. No one was apprehended. Members of the Midnight Crew apparently made their escape through a back entrance of the bank while the Felt seemed to disappear without a trace. Eye witness reports say that the Felt were used some kind of device to escape, but police are baffled as to what that may be and are currently investigating the situation with their best detectives. They urge anyone with information to call the Midnight City Police Station at 610-876-5587.”

A few other things, too.

I want to make something clear: if I send you a message, I want you to respond, no matter what it is. It’s frustrating if I send someone a warning and I don’t get a response. I don’t know if you got it or not if you don’t. Did you receive it? Did you understand it?

In the future, please remember to respond to my messages. I just want to know you got my message and you understand. It doesn’t need to be much. Just let me know you got it.

Secondly, if you left the group or were kicked from the group, you CAN rejoin if or when you think you’re ready! However, if you were kicked for any reason besides failure to post, you cannot be readmitted. Just to make sure no more drama will go down in the group.

Thirdly, if you’re going to be gone for a period of any longer than one week, request a hiatus, and tell me through this blog. I was getting messages through my personal and rp blog, but just for future reference, this blog is the one you want to contact for that sort of thing.

Masterlist Limitations

I’ve been thinking on this for a while, and I’ve been toying with the ideas, but for the time being some characters in Homestuck will not be available. This includes sprites. Any and all of them.

Since this is essentially a universe without sgrub/sburb, there’s no reason for them to exist. For a while I thought maybe they could just be AU characters, like a human or troll, but I did say in the rules there’s no place for speciesbending in the group.

Plus, I don’t really want technical “doubles” running around the place. I might eventually give the sprites a pass into the group and give an exception to the “no speciesswap” rule for them, but for now, it appears they aren’t an option.
