the more i watch the twilight movies in order, the more i realize how much BD part 2 stands out from the others. obviously, with Bill Condon directing both BD movies, they weren't as dark-looking but that aside, by the end of Part 2, Edward and Bella have a WHOLE adolescent. like renesmee rotersserie chic is like EIGHT YEARS OLD. two movies before that, Bella was kissing on Jacob... not that Bella and Jacob were ever endgame, y'all get my point. like it happened SO FAST BD part 2 is just an outlier. how do they go from high schoolers who are so awkward around each other going to prom n sitting in trees TO LITERALLY BIRTHING A DEMON CHILD WHO, IN LIKE THE SPAN OF 3 MONTHS IS A FOURTH GRADER. no hate, i clearly am obsessed with the saga but i'm sorry BD2 is just ~a smeyer headcanon that made it too far~
