celxstialisms:
âThen perhaps permit me to exist in my moreâŠcomfortable state.â
He spoke the last words with a bit of a skeptical tone, still unused to his state as a Heroic Spirit. Still, he allowed the face of the handsome visage to fade away in swirling energies along with the finery of clothing. In their place stood a skeletal figure swathed in voluminous, swirling black robes with a gilded crown atop his head.
âTâwould seem this state is moreâŠnatural to me. At least as one slaved to his legends.â
âThat is fine by me, you need not ask for I to permit you to feel comfortable.â Seeing the difference between forms was not all too surprising, a pause for a moment as she observed how he switched so easily. Had the Grail granted him two forms? âIf it is more natural, then you should be able to enjoy it, regardless of what form.â A slave to his legend? She could almost understand that mindset. Only, she was a slave to existence. âI mind not the change, perhaps due to my own existence.â
vernaschen:
ââŠslumber? Eternal sleep?â He is familiar with such a concept, but did not think it applied elsewhere. âSuffice it to say that you did not. You have, for some reason, transcended.â Fenrir would ponder about it deeper if only he held a solid interest in the workings of gods. Even though Lilith is the person in question, it did not matter to him as to what it caused her to remain in this world, let alone resurface as a Servant of the Holy Grail, as intriguing the matter should be. ââŠperhaps the reason why your memory is in a bit of a daze is all due to the fact that you have not died. The Grail might be forbidding your consciousness to work on two or several places at once. If that is the case, then it makes sense, all things considered.â Should he be thankful that he died? Not recalling certain things from your past might be a pain.
Those locations should be unfamiliar to him, but the knowledge granted to him as a Servant made it clear in his head. ââŠare you not happy? To be known in the world must be a good feeling. I have sought fame in life.â And it was his desire that the gods have used against him. ââŠwhat do you mean?â Now heâs the one confused. Submitting never had a different definition to him, so to be inquired about the context of his statement⊠that was new. Lilith was slowly removing all the first things in his list of experience. Do women usually have such a punishing mind? Itâs even worse than being deceived, for he cannot truly tell what sheâs thinking. Regardless, his mind had read a particular intention from herâ sexual. She thought of what he had said in a promiscuous light. Is she, perhaps, a woman of sexual virtue?
Shrugging the thought to move onto a different matter, he looked at the demon. His wolf ears were visible at the moment and they perked upon hearing that some gods were kind during her time. He would not deny it. Tyr was one of thoseâ kind and sympathetic gods. Even Odin should be counted, but his belief was easily disregarded after their betrayal. All gods now look the same to him. They think of those below them as a laughing stock, Fenrir included. While they feared him as the one whoâs fated to bring about the end of the world, they also mocked him with their laughters when theyâve successfully bound him. Kings and Gods were fashioned from the same cloth. So as much as he would like to arrive into an agreement with her, he could not. His Wolf heart would and could not allow it.
âWhy do you put men into trial, Lilith?â Heâs aware that humanity, in some parts of the world, had become rotten wandering flesh. Even so, he didnât think of them deserving to be subjected into such fraudulent acts. Perhaps she had a reason, like most gods did. On the other hand, she could have done those things out of the amusement it brought her, like most demons did. ââŠI think it is unfair that gods get to decide which ones are worth redeeming, and which ones must suffer.â Still, he would not force her to agree with his statement. People see things differently, think of it differently in accordance to the things theyâve experienced down the road. He would not deny the possibility that she had experienced suffering in the past. Nevertheless, sheâs a woman of power while some struggle at their own weakness.
Him⊠heâs a monster deserving to be slain.
Taken, yes. But saying more leaves a sour taste the mouth. It would be in her best interest to not know further of what resulted the carrying of Ragnarok. ââŠI enjoy things that are quite too simple and dull.â Heâs the complete opposite of her. Because like the things he adore, heâs also uninteresting and desolate. It shouldnât be a mystery by now as to why many had tried to avoid him, avoid being within his vicinity. ââŠfree, I do not know.â Compared to Asgard, heâs much more free now. However, with Gleipnir still wrapped on his neck, who could say for certain? âMost people find fascination in carrying out lust and romance. Are you the same?â
âYes, I suppose it would be bothersome if the Grail allowed my mind to work beyond what ones that have died can. Mhm, I am also likely too old it appears only Gilgamesh can be fully described by the Grail.â Those prior him, even simply his own father was lost in time it appeared. And yet, Fenrir was here no problem. Hm, how odd. âI doubt I shall ever die, if I ever do die...I wonder how it will feel. If I would feel...happy, that eternity is ending or would I be saddened by the feeling?â And would someone find a way to kill her out of hatred or out of something else? So many possibilities, not that it mattered. Whether she was sleeping elsewhere or not, was irrelevant, she would know once Chaldea ended.
Was she happy? Hm, not happy and not unhappy. âDepends. Within my homeland, yes. Outside of it, no.â Shaking her head, before then tilting her head towards the wolf. âWhat good is being known, when the further time passes the more incorrect their knowledge of you is? When they base their own fickle ideologies and use you, a living being as a simple base. I might be universally famous, but outside of my homeland...they know not of who they speak.â And for people to speak her NAME and yet not KNOW her was angering. âI cannot say I care if I am misunderstood, for I do not. However, I do care when other lands have taken my name and fame from my homeland and modified my legacy to fit their own needs.â That, agitated her.
â...I never sough fame. I simply existed and enjoyed it, for a time.â Pondering for a moment, she simply shrugged. âI was modified within the Christian religion, Lilith being the first wife of Adam and when Adam desired to sleep on-top of her, both made from the Earth...she desired to have sex, as equals, in an equal position. This angered Adam, Lilith left and the rest I do not care for. All I know beyond that is that Eve was a replacement, an obedient submissive weakling who was so helpless and weak of a woman the snake corrupted her. In other words, powerful women are evil.â Apparently, which if so...perhaps she was evil by their books, but so were many women. Truth be told, she thinks that version of the bible suffered a phobia of women. âHowever, that NEVER happened in my life, and the sheer knowledge that is associated and stated to be ME...is not pleasing.â
âThat question, is like myself asking a human why they breath.â It was simply an honest answer, she simply did. âWhy do you devour, Fenrir?â Did he have a choice, was it an innate nature or could he not truly control it? âI was ordered to, I was the hand of Inanna. As a sacred prostitute, many men desired me. I suppose the same reason Kings are tested, why Heroâs fight and why birds fly. It was simply a part of my being.â A sigh, though most men had failed her already low expectations some were surprising.Â
âI can agree with you, even so, Shamash and Inanna were always fair and Shamash was very wise. I suppose, I had faith in some of them just as I had faith in some Kings and some humans. To brand everyone with the same cloth, all humans evil, all Gods evil, all supernatural beings evil? Is bizarre to me, who is to say what is wrong or right? If I condemn everyone from a specific species, ignoring individual aspects, would I not be no better than those who brand me with the cloth of evil?â In other words, so many disliked being titled without being known. Many disliked when a group was all hated just due to a few who had wronged someone. She had no reason to hate all Gods, or all humans or even all âmonstersâ, for each and everyone was different.
âThere is no fascination with sex.â A pause. âI do not recall a time I ever enjoyed sex, perhaps it when it was new and I was a maiden a sacred woman of the temple who danced upon the streets and temples. Not to my memory though.â As for romance, oh the thought did gain a giggle from her, so much so she almost fell over. It almost looked cute, like she almost looked normal for once. âI have never known romance, I am capable of love, but never found it. Now, why would one be with a demonic being? That would be a horror novel.âÂ
Placing a palm against the tree near her, her fingers rolled against it for a moment. âHaving sex, I do embody sexual passion, sexual power and sexual pride. That does not mean I desire sex as a need it simply means I am not ashamed.â Although, at times it did remind her she was alive. âIndulging, yes I do at times. It reminds me I am alive, if I ever chose to just...lay still and close my eyes, I would likely just feel dead. I do not wish to ever become numb.â He did enjoy the simplest things, but his company was not bad at all.
â...What say you? Is there anything you would wish to enjoy, if you are free?â
Guess who's back.
@ofmiischicf
âA loud monkey?â
I want you to be happy. Even if it seems impossible, seeing you happy.. is already worth more than the Holy Grail or anything else.

âWhoever is stating this nonsense, and I have an inkling should not be such a soft soul.â Sheesh, did they not realise this sounded either romantic or family type relation? A sigh, ignoring her expression at the current time. âWinning the Holy Grail is the entire point of one summoning a servant, losing would be pointless and not something I intend to let happen.â Shaking her head, she clung to her book. âDoubt much can make me happy, have done almost everything do-able my mortal standard, and even a lot by divine.â Why were people too soft for the world they existed in?

        « ăăŁăčăżăŒ » âHow curious.â
He was not oblivious to what she was commonly associated with or perceived as, a demon. It was fascinating. She was an immortal, something that was both a blessing and curse. He had met those in a position similar to hers, ones who had taken a step back from humanity due to the tensions between their humanity mortality and immortality; Utnapishtim, a human who had aided in preserving the lives of all living beings at the time of the Great Floods granted immortality for his toils, yet even he grew distant in his eternity. However, here she was, standing before him proclaiming to protect the Earth loved by her people.
âSome may question your true intentions when you speak of protection yet name yourself as Avenger.â
A comment followed by a light chuckle.
Many equated the Avenger class with those tainted and driven by hatred and anger, negative emotions, but Gilgamesh did not. He had witnessed the passions and even some acts he would classify as kindness from those who shared her class. Although, the Kingâs perception of the world was drastically different to most and his vision itself broader yet sharper, so it wasnât incomprehensible that some failed to see the whole truth. Besides, the classes assigned to them by the Holy Grail system were not accurate depictions of individuals. He had never been fond of stereotypes.
âHow is it that you have come to be an Avenger?â
âSome may, even so I would not be a woman of my homeland if I cared what a few ignorant beings thought.â Adding onto the fact she was a Goddess, try as she might she could not remember which one she was- alas, it did not matter. Likely the Grailâs doing, even so she was the hand of Inanna. To ever care for what strangers think of her? Those who know not the culture of any of her kingdoms as she existed long before Uruk was what it was when Gilgamesh was born.Â
Would be an insult to every God, every King or woman who believed in her. ââTis not my error I was summoned as an Avenger, I am a monster within a beautiful body. Even so, we monsters can care.â A giggle left her lips, of course the key word was can, could, but even so. Was that so different to a human? The only difference was, she was a threat. Adding onto her ambiguous morals, vast life span centuries before even Gilgamesh and her view upon the world...it was unlikely many would understand her. Some did surprise her though, Gilgamesh she knew had a broader vision than most.Â
âSuppose it is the only class that fits me. I do not classify as a beast, as I am not against the Earth nor am I connected to this greater evil nonsense. Even so, the Caster class would not be fitting- although I would qualify, it would weaken me. And though I never specialise in a weapon, I was expected to wield a few if ever needed. Avenger represents what I am most famous as, someone, a woman to be feared, a temptress, a woman who took away the power of men. To me...Avenger simply works, for if I do dislike a person....well, I am too sane for a Berserker.â
âI both looked after Uruk, and tested the people. Assisted women in childbirth, but taunted and tempted the men. A kingdom cannot flourish without...tests, it was a small job Inanna loved to grant me.â She was likely not willing to come down, or yuck humans in her mindset. Such a fickle woman, but a worthy Goddess no less.Â
âPerhaps, my mythology is too old for the Grail to comprehend. If thou is the oldest known Heroic Spirit the Grail can usually summon, perhaps I grant it a headache.â Though, she did wonder...why he was a Caster. Head tilted, a slight smile. âPray tell, why Caster? I do not remember you ever per say specialising in magic, not that I was here during that singularity...wish I had been.â She would have helped, oh well, she was summoned now if ever needed.Â
i support girls anger. i support girls who yell. i support girls who get called bitches and cunts at parties because theyâll swear at guys who wonât leave them alone. i support girls who donât believe in second chances and cut off people who hurt them. i support girls who say no the first time and flip you off if you ask them again. i support girls who will never allow themselves to be pushovers and constantly get shit for it. youâre fucking incredible.Â

vernaschen:
ââŠeven immortals fall. Aesir gods have fallen. Gods of other eras as well. What of you then, Lilith?â It was the first time that he had called her by name. Rarely does Fenrir refer to people with their assigned title and if he ever does that only means that he holds a certain attachment to them. Did he feel that way towards the demon? He couldnât say for sure, but her company is not unwanted. In fact, it is greatly preferred and appreciated than being surrounded by those with fear. To be accompanied like a normal creature, like someone whose past isnât blemished⊠there can never be an even greater feeling. ââŠif you intend to be deceptive, you are quite falling off. You should try harder⊠then I shall submit.â
Thereâs a small smile upon his faceâ small but noticeable. He was usually surrounded by men, as most Aesir gods were. Even if the halls of Asgard were frequented by female gods and servers, he did not communicate with them. So to be exposed to a womanâs behavior was stunning at best. ââŠin your land, that might be the truth. It is not the same in other locations, I fearâŠâ They were vanquished and erased. ââŠwhat is your home like? I have never heard of a god to serve Kings, if you truly are and being a demon is only second nature. I figure they would be lower in position⊠but⊠I stand corrected in this matter then.â Fenrir cannot comprehend her situation but that is mostly because it was not an important matter. She is here⊠that should be enough.
ââŠI found enjoyment in life once.â Then the Aesir gods ended it all and there was nothing more for him to love and accept. He had stopped seeing the bright light, his world dark and grim. She should never enter it, never become a part of it. It is not safe for someone like her. He would not allow any harm to befall her, especially not from him. Still, her touch was comforting. Is he allowed to indulge himself with it? To think of himself deserving of being held? ââŠother people enjoy things beyond simple company.â
â...I wish, I knew.â The woman admitted, pondering for a moment. âWhen the Age of Gods arrived at its climax, all Gods and supernatural beings should have entered a slumber.â The Gods lost their power, besides Gilgamesh who was one part human. Logically, that was a loophole. Still, what of her? Her roles were many and ambiguous, humans debated what she was- and while under the Grail even her own memories were hazy.Â
âI actually studied myself, hilarious I know even so...the Grail blurs my history too much. Which, effects my memory. I am aware religion copied me, created a human Lilith to blame for sin simply because she desired to bed Adam as an equal and not as a tool. Hilarious, honestly.â They copied her to blame a fake Lilith for sin, just to replace the fake with a submissive Eve.Â
Huh, men in her time were not so terrified by women. Seemed men became weaker over time. âI wandered the Earth. Egypt, Rome, Greece, northern Europe. Suppose my legend spread and different lore were created.â A sly smirk, the mischievous nature she held clear as night. âSubmit? In what context?â Darn it, it slipped out.
Why was he smiling? Why did he have a cute smile? âI, see. Not surprising, I suppose. We are never cared for, though being the hand of Inanna and powerful myself, suppose no one tried to be-rid of me.â Even as a prostitute within the temple, she was a sacred one a maiden who danced. Their morals and actions were entirely different to most.  She was morally ambiguous, she did not believe in human mortality and laughed at it. Definitely not someone with a kind moral set. So she could never say she was kind.
âSome of our Gods were kind. Never Anu.â Which, speaking of Anu left a toxic taste in her mouth. âEreshkigalâs husband is another selfish God, just a rapist with a lot of power.â Hm, she pondered. âNinsun, Shamash, Inanna were the only Gods I respected, and Ereshkigal. I would say Gilgameshâs father...but his divinity is debated, I never met him myself.â And, she did not count Gods not fully divine. âHm, hm, our Gods could be very cruel, mostly fair...they were a type of court, as any court, good and bad.â Some she would kill, some she liked. It was very luck based.
âI care for the Kings, they were the contact between Gods and Kings. I also was mostly within the cities. Testing men, be it sexually or power wise, see if they would go astray and fail. Dance within the temples, even assisting women in childbirth. Still, I also took from the world, life has death, desires can lead to self destruction.â She was always a rather free being, just how Inanna liked her. âIn my free time, I napped within tree trunks.â Until Gilgamesh kicked her out and she was too tired to argue, meh, she liked that tree.
âGreenery, grand walls, dessert, lots of water. Hard to describe...depending on time era, it varied much. Always beautiful, clear nights, sun rising high. Everyone worked, no one was permitted to be lazy. Of course there was some sexism, racism and so forth, not all Kings were ideal.â Though, who was an ideal King? âHeroâs and Kings entering grand journeyâs, warm sand beneath my bare feet...I liked my home. I was forever elusive within the cities, some never believed I existed, some did.â
So many rivers, caves and land to explore. It was a wonderful place, in her eyes. Regardless. âYou say once, I presume it was taken away?â Gods were...known for that, sadly. âEverything beyond company has become dull...I do enjoy knowing of other cultures, or experiencing them.â Still, she continued to stroke his hand as he appeared to have no dislike for it. Even though she questioned if she should, her hands were for power, or sexual pleasure- ever just, being in quiet peace was not something ever given to her. âWhat do you enjoy, Fenrir?â Her even asking, showed she valued him. âAfter all, now you are free, are you not?â
sorry all iâve got a lot going on irl right now, not dropping any threads but my replies on lilith, luvia & marie might be either super speedy or waaaaay delayed. mental health, money, family stuff, job stuff, just all on the go right now. ;;
vernaschen:
âIt does not really matter if I am to hate you or not, does it? Regardless, you will continue to exist. You will breathe the same air as I do, bask yourself in the same sun I am under and gaze at the same moon.â It wonât really affect her and neither will it do him good. Hate is a common emotion, but not one he would want to linger for long if unneeded, but some people do have the imminent desire to get on his nerves. What he didnât expect, however, was for her to express a dislike on such a thought. That, in some form, his opinion actually mattered to an actual person.
He wouldnât say it made him happy though.
âCaring for Earth⊠and you say you are a demon.â Fenrir was not doubting the credibility of her statement, but it truly sounded contrary to her nature. Still, if sheâs summoned as a Servant, that can only mean that she had died in life, unless she is currently using the body of someone else to contain her soulâ a vessel of a Magus. He finished his meal, relieved that he was able to eat meat again all thanks to her. âEverything is possible,â said the Fenris Wolf as he took the hand of the demon. He wanted to take a look into it, if it was any bit as rough as his own calloused palms. Unfortunately, it was⊠fitting for a god, but it did not disappoint.
âAlthough it is true many events would not change. Regardless, I am immortal so I shall always exist.â Less something occurred that erased their world. Perhaps, it was true that his opinion did matter to her. Though, her pride currently would not permit her to admit this. Even so, she did not wish for him to hate her- he was the first person, if not the only person, who saw her as simply Lilith. Yes her name had a lot of weight to it, within so many cultures, some cultures even copying her. Even so, to be seen as just another being was pleasant to her. And she genuinely enjoyed his company. âPerhaps your opinion does matter to me. Whether it matters or not, suppose that is my little secret.~â
It would not be difficult to read between the lines, but he would get no confession out of her. His comment, did make her laugh. âDemons are not necessarily evil, I shall never comprehend such a mind-set.â A shake of her head, with a slight grin. âI have done a lot of bad, and some good. We demons are a part of this world, my past Kings, my homeland, all matter to me. I care for very little within this world...but my home...I do care for.â In truth, it was her body despite never dying, she simply allowed herself to be summoned. Well, she was likely sleeping somewhere, since Chaldea brought forth a weaker her. She heard Arturia slept in Avalon, her body unable to be taken by the Grail yet she was summoned.
Surprised by his comment, she almost smiled. âHm, perhaps, my use of existence was removed long ago. So perhaps I simply lost enjoyment in the world. What of you?â When he took her hand, she did not mind. Her skin was akin to silk due to her design, but yet her skin was extremely thick, usually caught people off guard. Using her free hand, she rolled it over the hand that held hers. âTough skin as well. Though yours are much larger. Perhaps it be odd...I rather enjoy your company.â
anradh:
âLilith, good. Sure you already know who I am.â Find her? He had no bloody clue who she was to begin with, so that wasnât even possible in the slightest. If he did, finding her around the bigass halls of Chaldea wouldnât be that hard. Besides, heâs got a liking to pursuing women who can triple kick his ass to hell and back. Things didnât really change even when he became a Servant. Heâs still the same goddamn fool who will aggressively chase skirts of maidens before the fucking enemies. âHad enough of promised fortunes and all that jokes. I suffered enough already! We live in an era now where those things donât matter anymore.â
Through his suit he could feel her delicate fingers, rubbing her tips against his well-defined figure. Howâs that for first impressions? Seems like heâs doing good in keeping this lady a bit entertained. Otherwise, the Luck of the Irish will come rising once again. He held her moving hand and lowered it, putting it away from him. âIt depends on what kind of fun youâre after. Iâm all up for batshit crazy kind of fun, but Iâm open to other suggestions.â
âI know specific legendary names, not all.â A pause. âHowever, yes I am well versed within your homeland.â And that was exactly why she had stated it, for it was impossible. Though, she also did not know what the original Cu looked like, nor had she needed to seek him out. Besides, her appearance did stand out, hard not to notice her...or the discomfort a lot felt towards or. Yet on the other end of the spectrum, plenty lusted for her. She would happily kick his ass, free of charge. âHeh, this era is far too boring for my liking.â Humans had become even weaker, few were interesting- their spark had just been erased with the times. A shame.
He made a good first impression, few men had the bodies of the men from her time. Well, the Kings and warriors that is- she never did sleep with the fully divine. She might be one of them, but she never considered herself to be. So it was pleasant to see that he did not...betray his legend, or she might be disappointed. âTruth be told, beyond a good fight, pranks or sex- I know little else fun. Well, dance but I cannot see you belly dancing.â The thought was enough to make her laugh and accidentally smile. Though dancing within the shrines had always been fun, women were allowed to be sexually powerful, violently powerful- unless Anu had a crying fit about it of course. âStill, if you know other options, I am willing to listen.â
