For Bro, I'll call him Drax to make things easier to read, I actually headcanon that he got into the sex and adult industry at a pretty damn young age. Not every home he was in was bad. In fact, a lot of them were pretty normal. Bro was just a very strange and off putting child. He constantly met conflict with violence or other anti-social behaviors (Most of which are influenced by Lil Cal, but adults would never understand this) and this succeeded in isolating him from making friends or receiving the resources he could have gotten from these adults or social workers. (very important for evil plans)

He also experienced the usual bullying kids get for being Neurodivergent and clinging to a weird doll his entire life. The ND part often triggered a selective mutism, which led to high frustrations, which led to more violence. Now he only knows how to solve problems with a sword. (wink)
