also hi guys it’s been a while

i mean basically i’ve just been working full time and having a boyfriend and trying to not eat like shit and be some kind of person who does things other than watch tv and read, and it’s kind of getting in the way of my internet time

i found a club that is exclusively for lesbians. i build it deep in a forest, so that the straights don’t find it. the opening night is a hit. the waiting line is huge. the lesbians are pouring in, the spirits are high, everyones having fun and making friends. suddenly there’s a commotion at the door. “sorry sir, we can’t let you in. this is for lesbians exclusively you see,” says the manager apologetically. “let him in,” i say, “its okay. he’s with us.” by he i mean hozier. he walks in with a guitar case slung over his shoulder and a flower crown on his head. he smiles at me sadly and i feel like he understands. i don’t know what, but he understands. i drink more wine and ignore the tightness in my chest. on the stage, hozier strums his guitar.

i don’t think anyone fully understands how iconic of a film the princess diaries truly is. everything in that film is iconic. the apartment/firehouse. the scooters as a method of transportation. “get off the grass” in 4 languages. “please don’t crush my soy nuts.” the mustang. the weird neighbor who writes poetry. the m&ms on the keyboard and the pizza. “it’s a wango?” lily’s otter backpack. the whole paolo makeover sequence. every foot pop. stop me i could go on forever the princess diaries is so iconic it’s on the same level of iconography as star wars (1977)

might be getting into my first fight with my boyfriend...

i don’t know yet, it depends on how he responds to something

it’s just been a shit day, and i wanted some comfort, and maybe i wasn’t clear enough, but should i have to ask when he knows how crappy i’ve felt all day?

i always offer some company when he’s had a low/bad day, it’s the first thing i say, and i know he wanted to just chill at home today, but when someone you care about is feeling low, you should get off your ass and offer to go see them or have them over, no matter what you had planned.

or maybe that’s just me. can’t expect everyone to do the same things you do i guess.
