TWISTED MINDS LOVE ISLAND, A FANFICTION BY TOKO FUKAWA

Love Island: Twisted Minds Edition  Chapter 1: “Welcome to the Villa”

Narrator: Welcome to the Twisted Villa, where the sun is always shining, and the grass is always growing. We are so excited to get into our first ever season of Mind Village where people will make friends, cause scandals, and maybe find their happily ever after. Now let's meet our beautiful triangular yellow host, with a bow tie and heart of gold.

“WELCOME TO Mind Village!

The triangle grinned with far too many teeth.“I’m your host, BILL CIPHER! I’ll be your cosmic matchmaker-slash-chaos connoisseur. Let’s meet our lovely, confusing contestants!”

Byakuya Togami walked through the marble archway of the villa with all the grace of someone used to buying buildings just to knock them down. Wearing his most expensive suit so that everyone knew that they were below him in status he takes a look at the scenery in front of him. 

“This is absurd,” he muttered. “A glorified dating game in a tropical prison. Typical of the lower classes.”

A flamingo bobbed nearby. “ I do, however , like the bird….. I could buy millions of these pink monsters”.

Suddenly, a pop of confetti shot through the air as Harley Quinn cartwheeled onto the scene, disrupting Byaukya in his flamingo trance. 

“Ooh, I like this place!” she giggled. “They’ve got palm trees, neon signs, and a pool I can probably fall into dramatically. Ten outta ten!” She eyed the camera.“Hope there’s someone fun to talk to… or prank. Or both.”

Harley tossed her hair over her shoulder, while passing Byakua. “ You know… I usually like them more crazy with green hair, but you and your fabulous style have got me intrigued”. 

Byakyua watches Harley walk away with his mouth agape. Meanwhile the next arrival seemed to bring the temperature down ten degrees.

William Afton stepped into the courtyard with a slow, calculating smile. His violet shirt was neatly buttoned, and his eyes scanned the villa like it was a puzzle he had already solved.

“New environment,” he said softly. “New… opportunities.”

Harley gave him a once over and squinted.“You look like you belong in a spooky mystery book.”

Byakyua huffed. “ I definitely have more money than this guy”. 

William chuckled. “So I’ve been told.”

No one saw him enter.

One moment, the path was empty. The next, The Husband was standing beside the pool, dressed in an old grey suit.  Staring at those around him, he is wondering. Which of these love prospects are like my beloved Randy? He seemed to be quietly observing, while the fellow villagers were talking and getting to know each other.  Bill Cipher appeared out of thin air, ready to get these people together. 

“Alright freaks! Time to COUPLE UP!”

The contestants stood in an awkward row, glancing at each other with varying levels of judgment, interest, and mild dread.

"First up, Byakuya Togami!” Bill announced.

Byakuya straightened his jacket. No one stepped forward.

Harley shrugged. “You seem nice, but like… a little serious.”

Byakuya sighed. “Very well. I’ll choose her…. Plus she liked the flamingos…. and she appears capable enough.”

Harley blinked. “Well, okay then, Mr. Businessman. Let’s make the best of it!”

They stood side by side, oddly mismatched, but intriguing. “Next, William Afton.” 

“I prefer someone unpredictable,” William said, almost to himself. Suddenly, the clouds parted and a glowing elevator made of candy corn and neon descended from the sky.

“MAKE WAY FOR THE BOMBSHELL!” Bill yelled.

Out danced Kokichi Ouma, wearing sunglasses shaped like stars and riding a toy robot goat.

“Ta-da! Did someone say chaos?” Kokichi sang, hopping off. “I’m not here for love, I'm here to stir things up!”

William raised a hand, amused. “You interest me.”

Kokichi smiled. “Perfect. Let’s cause a little trouble.”

That left The Husband. Alone. He didn’t speak. He didn’t blink.

Bill floated down.“Aww, poor guy. No partner? That means you’re this episode’s wildcard! Which means… surprises are coming your way!”

A lightning bolt struck a palm tree. The tree burst into flames! As the sun set, music played and lights glowed.

Byakuya tried explaining global economics to Harley, who was busy making sunglasses out of paper straws.

Kokichi and Afton whispered to each other in a corner, occasionally giggling and pointing at security cameras.

The Husband stood silently at the edge of the pool. The moon reflected perfectly in his eyes, even though the moon wasn’t full.

Harley (grinning):“Byakuya’s all business. I think I’m the first person to make him sigh seven times in five minutes!” At least he likes flamingos 

Kokichi twirling in a beach chair 

“Afton’s creepy, but in a really fun way. We’re like a prank team. Or maybe a distraction team. Who knows?”

The Husband on cameraHe doesn’t speak. The lights flicker.

Bill Cipher (hovering above the villa):“Well folks! Will hearts melt or minds unravel? Will Kokichi set off the glitter bomb he hid behind the snack bar? Tune in next time on…Mind VIllage!

Chapter 2: “Elimination and dates”.

The sun rose and all of our villagers were sound asleep in their beds. Byakyua and Harley in one, Kokichi and Afton in another, and the lonesome Husband all by himself.

The husband, grumbling under his breath…I will get William Afton to be with me, because his purpleness reminds me of Randy’s beautiful books.”

Meanwhile in the other bed, Harley is trying to talk to Byaukya about the joker. “You know. I really thought he loved me, but he is just like all the rest. You know He has never once asked me what my favorite bird is?  If he did I would say a penguin! But you know how that would go? BAD he would totally go berserk!”

“Do you ever SHUT UP?” Byakyua sneered. “Some people need their beauty sleep. How is one to connect with a flamingo when all they can hear is the sound of your blabbering voice?”. 

Byakyua turned over, as Harley leaped out of bed to the kitchen. 

“ Hey Kokichi whatcha up too?”. Harley asked.  “Just working on my glitter bombs!… la la la la la la la la. GLitter here, FLitter flare, Glitter EVERYWHEREEEEEE”.

“Okay thennnnnn” Harley walked down to see William Afton by the pool. 

“ I thought you were all over the money boy over there?” He muttered. 

“Naw He’s all over his fluffy flamingos… I’d much rather be here, plus your purple suit reminds me of someone I used to know.”

Afton looks up at Harley, something in his eyes seemed to light up.  “ You know… I was thinking about taking a stroll around the village. You know if you wanted to come with me. I have some ideas about a new restaurant that I would love to get some thoughts on!”.

At this Harley jumped up! “ No one has ever wanted my input before! I’d love to!”

Back in the Villa Kokichi stumbled across the husband, staring daggers into Harley's back. 

“WATCHA LOOKING AT?? ALL I SEE IS PURPLE, PURPLE, AND MORE PURPLE. !” Kokichi shrieked. 

The husband jumped, and then shushed Kokichi. “ I am trying to find out how to take her out, so that I can have William Afton for myself.  “ NOW NOW DEAR STUPID HUSBAND! We can help eachother!” Kokichi whispers into the husbands ear, before they both wander off to the pool. 

Meanwhile Byakyua is trying to befriend the flamingo.  “HELLO YOU STUPID BIRD! WHY WON'T YOU ANSWER ME? YOU KNOW I HAVE PUT WAY TO MUCH MONEY INTO THIS SHOW FOR YOU TO NOT GIVE ME THE TIME OF DAY. You know I could make a coat out of you, but that goes into consumerism and I will not have that will I. I am more powerful than you, and I will find out how to domesticate you.” 

HOURS LATER: ELIMINATION CEROMONY!

Bill Cypher is floating in the middle of the village ready to see which villager will be whisked out of the villa and back to the universe they dominate.

“ Hello Hello Hello, and welcome to our first elimination ceremony of the show! Two couples will remain, and one unlucky loner will be going home…. Husband, I am looking right at you!”

“HEY!” roared the husband! 

“ Alright husband, come up to the front of the room”, Bill instructed.  “Pick who you would like to couple up with, if the contestant you choose decides to leave their partner and go with you, you will be safe… IF they do not, you will be asked to leave the villa and the village forever HAHAHAHAHHAH”. 

The husband looked right at Kokichi's determination in his eyes. “I pick…. KOKICHI” 

“ WIlliam Afton showed no signs of anger towards this motion as he has found a new connection. Harley Quinn. 

“ Kokichi” Bill started. “ Do you wish to leave your couple, and partner up with the Husband?”

“YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES! I thought you would never ask!” 

“WIlliam Afton this leaves you single. Now if anyone here is wishing to couple up with William Afton please step forward, if not you will be asked to leave the villa.”

Harley stepped forward without a second thought leaving Byakyua without a partner. 

“Byakyua you are now single. Please come up to the front. Does anyone wish to couple up with BYuaka?.” Everyone stood silent. 

“ Byakyua I am sorry not really I kind of actually hate your guts a lot. You will now be forcibly removed from the villa. Goodbye forever. Never come back. Good riddance. 

“NO I CAN'T LEAVE! NOT BEFORE I FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAME A FLAMINGO! You are all uncultured, lower class idiots! I will not tolerate this kind of behavior towards me! I AM BYAKYUA TO—------ 

Byakyua is interrupted with a giant glitter bomb going off in the distance. 

“GLITTER EVERYWHERE YAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAAYA I AM SO EVIL I AM SO AWESOME HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.” Kokichi sings.

Bill pops up in front of all of the glitter! And with that our first elimination is over,  Tune in next time to see who wins the game! Thank you not so good night!

Chapter 3: Feathers are overrated.

The sun is shining on the mind village as all the villagers minus Byakuya are sound asleep in their beds. They are awakened to Bill screaming on the loudspeaker. 

“GOOD MORNING VILLAGERS!!!!! Today is going to be a fantastic day as we are putting your love to the test! Everyone meet down at the pool in ten minutes! Or else. MWAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA “ Cough.. Argh Cough hm.” Excuse me. Sorry. Yea just be there. 

Harley sits up stretching out her arms wide! She stares down at William Afton with love in her eyes. “ Hm i guess feathers were overrated… who needs a man with a lot of money when you can have a man with money and animotronics??” She jumps out of bed and leaves the room to meet Bill outside. As soon as she is gone Kokichi’s head pops out from under the bed.

“ Overrated huh? We will see about that. Hehehehehheehehehehehehehehehehhhhehehe”.

Outside all of the villagers are gathered around this giant machine called the Mind Twister. (HAHAHA GET IT? MIND TWISTER???) Bill floats down from the sky in his most triangular outfit. 

“Hello purple suits, maybe divorced freaks, circus clowns…..and Kokichi. Today we are going to twist your minds. Everything that you have ever wanted to know about your partner you can learn right here, right now! William Afton shifts uncomfortably, while Harley jumps in delight. The husband glances at Kokichi who gives him the most endearing smile. 

“Everything  will be fine, my dear Husband….just wait and see what I have in store.”  The husband shivered at Kokichi's words. “What could that mean?” He thought.

 Kokichi steps forward in a harsh movement before Bill could get another word out. “Good evening my beautiful weird friends. I have a present for everyone! Can you guess what it is?????”. 

Everyone just stared at Kokichi wide eyed.

“Well. Let me show you! PULL THE LEVER SAM!” 

Harley stepped forward. “WHO IS SAM?”

“DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!” Kokichi shrieked.

All of a sudden the Mind Twisters game completely vaporized and you could see Byakyua sitting in a chair with his arms tied behind his back and a blindfold on his face. 

Chapter 4: The Mastermind. 

“Behold! My new game. We are not in the mind village anymore. You were actually all brought here to play my game! Does anyone wanna guess what it’s called??”

William Afton grabbed hold of Harley shielding her from the sights in front of them. 

“Oh my god MR. SUIT FACE. I can look after myself. Now let me see what this weirdo is doing.”

“Harley, I am just trying to save you. Now be grateful.” He sneered. 

She took a giant step back, “ Oh my god. You are just like him. Argh I knew never to trust a guy in a purple suit. UGH”. 

Bill looked from Harley to Afton back to Kokichi… “Well things just got interesting.”

“OH MY GOD STAWWWWPPPPPPPPP I AM TRYING TO DO MY ULTIMATE SCHEME! Now sit and be quiet and be good while we play my game!” Kokichi whined. 

The husband stepped forward. “But I thought we had something? You were on my side.”

“I was never on your side, I just needed your help to get Byakyua out of here so I can achieve my master plan.” 

“And what would that be?” The husband whimpered. 

“I created an invention to turn people into animals!!!!!!!!! Isn’t that just so much fun?” Kokichi laughed. 

“WHATTTTTTTT!!!!??????????” Everyone screamed. 

“Now who wants to see me turn Byakyua into a flamingo?” 

“NOT ON MY WATCH” A voice rang in the distance. 

Chapter 5: Endings and New beginnings. 

“CONDIMENT KING” Harley cheered! “ I have never been so relieved to see you in my life” 

The condiment king looked pleased with Harley's beautiful declaration.

“ Let's hold this momentous occasion in our hearts “I couldn’t mustard the thought that this buffoon could win.” 

“BAFOOONNNN OH WHY I ATTA TURN YOU INTO AN ANT.” Kokichi screamed. 

“LETS GET HIM,” the Condiment King screamed. 

All the villagers ran towards Kokichi. Before they could get him he pressed a button which made him disappear into thin air. 

….. The husband frowned. “So… is he gone?”  

“I think so,” Harley said. 

“What do we do now”? Afton said. 

“HOW ABOut YOU POOR BeINGS LET ME OUT OF THIS CAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”.

“BYAKUYA” The villagers got Byakuya out of his restraints. 

“All of this and still no flamingo. Argh. I am going home! I never liked any of you. Byakyua out!” With that Byakyua was gone.  “Well I guess it is time to leave…….BYE” Harley jumps into the ocean and swims away. 

“Okay then.” WIth that WIlliam Afton gets into a purple car that for some reason showed up out of nowhere and drives away. 

“Hmmmmm I guess it is just you and me now Bill hahah right?” The husband glanced up.

“Oh yea. Uh Absolutely not your freak.” Bill poofs away.

“I am gonna be alone forever”. The husband states.
