Hey ive been getting into the simpsons and since youre the god of Simpsons i thought i would ask u for ep recs if youre feeling up to it...my favorite things are wholesome family plots (homer and marge, bart and lisa, etc), lisa and nelson's dynamic (i think ive watched most of the major eps about them tho), and lisa or nelson as characters in general...see you in street fighter 5 everybody!

DOTT IN HER SIMPSONS ARC WHAAAAT!!! i’m actually so embarrassingly rusty on my simpsons eps omg so im gonna post this publicly and ask for the simpsons friends to chime in!! i also am assuming you’ve seen the most popular episodes (last exit to springfield, simpsons roasting on an open fire, lisa’s substitute, 22 short films, maggie makes 3, marge vs the monorail, thoh, etc etc etc)

BUT i’d say my top fav episode (outside of my obvious bias of smithers episodes) is “the mysterious voyage of our homer.” this is a marge and homer ep and is just beautiful…. honestly i might rewatch it rn 🤔 it made me cry during my first watch, lmk what you think!

unsure of your stance on like, the new gen of simpsons episodes but i know they explore more of nelson and lisa in these later seasons. “when nelson met lisa” is a season 34 one and it’s p solid. i point to this later ep in particular bc im sure you’ve seen some of the earlier season episodes for them? i really love that you’re in on the lisa/nelson hype, they def are up your alley in ship taste for sure.
