I’m really unhappy with the treatment of Toni this season. The writers promised a backstory in s3 and they’ve made the same promise this season. As someone who really loves Choni, it’s been exhausting to watch Toni be sidelined. I am, of course, looking forward to 4.12, that synopsis still feels like it’s a fever dream but I really hope that before the season is over, she gets an ep SL that is focused around her, not on Cheryl and not on their relationship.

i agree completely. i wish the writers would have just told us they don’t have plans to explore toni’s backstory as of right now, bcuz honestly what sucks most about it is having high hopes only to watch entire seasons go by without a single mention of her backstory.  

i understand she’s not a main, and i’m not expecting her to ever have the screen time or storylines that the core four get, but she’s going on her third season (being a series regular for 2), surely they can find a way to utilize her character more than they have by now.

(side note, anyone find it weird how many secret and totally useless family members they’ve been throwing into this season meanwhile toni can’t even get some PARENTS?)
