Now that my Sundottir is blocked and done and sitting happily atop the sweater pile, what's next?
I've been wanting to do something with stripes after making some striped mitts for my friend Joe, in Loft.
I really like this sweater: Benton by Julie Hoover, for (you guessed it) Brooklyn Tweed.
I think I'd go a little more subtle on the colors, though. Plus there's no way I'm knitting a whole sweater in Loft, so there's going to be some math to adapt it to Shelter.

Last selfie with my fierce kitty phone, better make it a good one!
I'm loving how this sweater knit up. Just need to block and sew in those ends and I'm done!

Sarah,
I'm having a love affair with this yarn!
I'm knitting the body in Shelter in color truffle hunt, and it is seriously gorgeous. When you get up close you can see the flecks of royal blue and you just lose your shit. Uggggghhhhhhh it's so beautiful.
Blocking. Almost done!!
I'm getting close enough to the end that I can't stop knitting. Whenever I sit down to knit I think I can finish the whole thing -- I dream of binding off. You know how that is! I just want to wear my beautiful new sweater!
This is my first time with color work, so I'm just hoping I got the tension correct. I think it looks like it will work out. The pattern is so beautiful, and switching yarns feels meditative.
I'm putting together the armpits of my Sundottir! This video from the Purl Bee came in really handy.
