It ends with New Directions doing a counterprotest concert outside the white house where they sing Freedom by George Michael and everybody who was going to go to the Freedom 250 concert goes to them instead. This is all completely forgotten about next episode and never comes up again (in the next episode Pete Hegseth is back from the dead somehow).
