Everyone suffers from this, people are partly upset about the misrepresentation of white culture (whatever that means) but it also massively generalizes all the the other cultures it mentions as well. Africa is a pretty big place, having many different countries and cultures,  this goes for every continent. The ‘Asian’ cuisine is pretty bad since a lot of that stuff is already confused (chinese, japanese, korean, even thai somtimes). Also you’re getting mad at people defending themselves because they’re being insulted.

of course it’s generalizing? why is that a bad thing. those pictures represent SOME african food, SOME asian food, etc. to emphasize on variety of culture. generalizing isnt bad in this case.

Apparently OP never heard of different cultures. Aside from the fact that asian, arab, african and hispanic cuisine is very different in itself, whites do have a lot of different cultures either.

Lets just use Europe as an example. Spanish, Italian, greek, hungarian, france, russian, german alone are already very different. And those are just the most known ones here.

Now under those general culturual difference, there are also a lot of differences within each. As a native german I can speak quite well about german cuisine and its local differences.

Ever heard of “Magerquark” - which is so unique to Germany that there isn’t even a translation to english and barely available in other countries. It now just starts to get more known as it is great food to support muscle training and bodybuilding.

Those are just a handful of the top of my mind. The unqiue thing about german cuisine is that we originally were several smaller princedoms with their own culture. Sachsen, Brandenburg, Prussia, Schlesien, Bavaria, Thüringen, Hessen, Baden-Baden, Westfalen, Franken, Pfalz, Saarland and several more. Due to this we have a high amount of diverse cuisine. These were further influenced by the german trait of taking ideas from others and improve upon them and the World War II which resulted in having to be able to make simple and energy-rich dishes. Dont let the simplicity fool you though. We also have a lot of very extensive and difficult ones.

In addition we are a stronghold for bakery and bread shops, chocolate and probably have one of the most extensive and diverse cuisine for dessert and sweets.
