I wanna apologize for lack of activity, I’ve just been busy and stressed with irl stuff.

Also quick question for fellow rpdr fans, have ya’ll seen Hurricane Bianca????? It’s fucking amazing, 10/10 recommend even if you’re not into RPDR. It’s a great lgbt movie and it’s funny as hell and will hit you in the feels all in one, i cried and i never cry

Her and Tommy hadn’t been close. It would be a great exaggeration to say that at any point Faye had found common ground with most of her ex-classmates. If it hadn’t been for ensuing murder mystery and tragedy then she would most likely have never branched out to them at all but time had changed quite literally and so had people. Again and again and again. 

“Who’d have thought,” she regarded, hand retracting from the metal bar as she stood, arms wrapping around herself in the slight night breeze. The carnival had been running for a few days, coming to it’s unironic close but she could still feel the haunting memory of paper beneath the tips of her fingers, “You can take the kids out of Whittemore but you can’t take the Whittemore out of the kids.”

After seeing most of his ex classmates throughout the carnival, he wondered if this would be the last time he’d get to see that they were still in fact alive. But the thought was shut down quickly. Every time they were all brought together a whole lot of series of unfortunate events began to ensue. What started it was the single note that weighed heavily down in his pocket, threatening to burn a hole right through his shorts. 

“Well, you can try..And fail.” He chuckled, shaking his head. “It was nice while it lasted.” Tommy added, he wondered how much longer this cycle would go on. All of them being reunited, more bafoonery and fuckery ensuing and then parting ways again to be brought back.

“Yeahhhh… something like that.” Parenting Olivia definitley had been… difficult. Of course, Chase loved her, and wouldn’t have it any other day. But raising a child that aged rapidly due to the fact that she was conceived in an alternate reality with his best friend who he hadn’t even been allowed to talk to was definitley complicated. “What about you? Have you been doing–” It felt weird to ask good, so instead he settled for, “alright?”

“I can imagine.” Tommy wondered how it’d been for both Chase and Millie to have ben raising a child who aged rapidly and how in the hell they kept it a secret or explained it to any family or friends. But then again maybe it was as easy as how Tommy dealt with showcasing his strength and speed, things were better left unanswered. “Uh- yeah. No complaints, really. Though, I think I owe Jonah an apology for how I’ve treated him now that the pact is..... broken?”

Beatrice watched the interaction play out before her, simply trying to figure out how she felt when it came to the knowledge that she did not have to run the other direction because she spotted a familiar face. It was tiring, avoiding people, though it was unlikely her path would cross with any of her old friends considering her mess of a schedule if it could even be called that. She was pulled back to earth when Tommy turned to face her, only briefly, her hands pushed in her pockets, waiting patiently for the little girl to run back to her parents. It made her nostalgic, she had been to so many carnivals with her parents as a child. It felt wrong to be there by herself. “Damn,” she sighed after a moment, the ringing of the bell starting to give her a headache that she ignored, “I was going to ask if you could win something for me but first come, first serve, if that’s the way it has to be I’ll manage.”

At this point he wasn’t surprised or caught off guard by the familiar face, this carnival was practically crawling with Whittemore students. He’d already broken the stupid rule and there was no turning back now. Part of him was glad that he hadn’t run into Sam, though the other part of him missed his friend, or rather his ex best friend. Nonetheless, Tommy was glad it was Beatrice. “Damn, is that all you want me for? To use me?” He shook his head as if he were offended, “Well, if you really want, the are other games still functioning.” Tommy offered with a shrug of his shoulders.

Frankly one of the last things that Fran had appeared at a carnival for was to play games but as she had ended up witnessing the strongest man in the world almost destroy a hammer game she knew that there was something here that could of been a story. Her expression was passive, it did not truly matter whether or not she found anything out, Lex dictated what was pushed in the faces of their viewers and his tastes were strange to say the least. As the little girl ran away however she did let out a sigh, “There goes my shot at swinging a huge hammer,” she placed one hand on her hip glancing around, “I guess I’ll have to go hit someting else.”

One of the perks Tommy enjoyed about his ‘fame’ as Sydney liked to call it, was impressing kids. Just to see the joy on their little faces would make him feel better about the series of events at Whittemore and Hawaii that led him to be who he is now. “Sorry to disappoint.” He chuckled, turning to look at her. “Normally I’m not so.. destructive.” Tommy knew she was being sarcastic, but he still felt a need to explain, truth be told, he was feeling on edge with the faces of his past showing up. “You could always try the dunk tank? I'd let you hit me for breaking this one but you'd just hurt yourself.”

“This ones for you, kid.” Tommy smiled, pointing the hammer at the little girl who’d been watching him in amusement and curiosity. He then raised the hammer and struck at the puck on the tower, watching the lever rise high up and hit the bell, indicating that he had just won. “Now, you can pick whichever stuffed prize you want.” He encouraged, smiling at the excitement that spread across her face. However, the bell continued to ring on, probably due to Tommy hitting and striking too hard. “Looks like I broke it.” He chuckled, shrugging his shoulders and turning back to the bystander, “Sorry bout it.” Blue eyes making contact with the other for a quick second, not really grasping who he had just talked to before turning back to the girl who thanked him and making sure she'd ran back safely to her parents.

It took Chase a second to realize he knew the face in front of him. The pact had just ended, and here he was already literally bumping into people from a past he’d fought so hard to forget. “No, I was just distracted. There’s a lot going on right now.” He could be talking about the carnival. He could be talking about the wedding. But Chase was really talking about the return of the game he’d foolishly believed was over. He briefly wondered if Tommy had heard anything about the dares, too, but wasn’t about to ask. Bringing them up somehow made them seem more real. Maybe this was all just another bad nightmare.

Tommy couldn’t be the only one, could he? He wasn’t sure if this was just a silly little threat or not. Part of him didn’t want to know, but the other part of him did. “Yeah, makes two of us.” He nodded his head, scratching the back of his neck. There was no way in hell that Tommy could be the only one with a note, Chase was one of the dare box holders at one point, if anyone deserved to get a note it was the keepers and definitely not Tommy. But that was just selfish thinking and he had to shake the thoughts away. “But with a daughter I’m sure you and Mills have your hands tied so it’s understandable.”

The lights were dizzying, or they would of been if she didn’t have a hundred other things on her mind that kept her on task. Earlier that day she had received the obvious signal that the dares were about to restart and although it had been over a year since she had last seen or heard about those slips or paper it had been longer still since she had played. Had she ever even got more than one thanks to the people who’s hands the box had fallen into during it’s time of circulation at Whittemore? 

The carousel sounded in the background, the colours and music sickly and loud, screaming of fun and excitement that she hadn’t felt in a million years and yet she felt no weight on her shoulders. She did not fear the dares for more than one reason and she refused to be afraid of something like that on a night where the London air was meant to be thick with something besides misery and anxiety, her hand glided on the rails as she turned to find someone behind her, words forming before regards could be paid to whoever it was, “So here we are.” 

Tommy was conflicted, to say the least. Should he have really reacted irritable at the the scribbled note that now resided in his pocket, burning a hole throughout the day. If the dares were truly back, what else could he lose? His other leg? An arm? Maybe a kidney if they so wished. Did he or anyone ever have any other choice? Maybe he should just accept his fate as it was, things were easier if you would just comply, right? He wasn’t sure, but he was going to enjoy his time, it was the least he could do.

“So here we are..” Tommy nodded, no longer really bothered with the stupid pact that was made. He already broke it earlier in the day with seeing and talking to both Rose and Chase. “Having a civil conversation, for once.” He chuckled, bringing the straw to his lips and sipping on his soda. In the past most of their interactions were mostly threatening and on the verge of getting physical. But they were usually in stressful settings.. like Charles’ death. Maybe it was because Faye was so easy to argue with.

A million questions raced through his head, all revolving around the recently discovered paper weighing heavily in his pocket. Who’d left it? What did it mean– well, he knew what it meant. But what did it mean in regards to the pact? The pact had been a stupid idea in the first place. They’d all been stupid to think this could ever really be over. Chase had been stupid to believe in the new life he’d built for himself, for Olivia. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. It was no surprise, with all the thoughts in his mind the extra crowds thanks to the city wide carnival, plus his usual clumsiness that had carried over into his new life, that Chase had managed to crash into someone. “Shit! I’m sorry,” he muttered, the apology falling from his lips before he’d even truly had a chance to see who he’d bumped into, literally. 

 What the hell had it been with people bumping into Tommy today? Did he just draw people to him like some sort of magnet? Shit, he’d heard various times that he was charming, but he didn’t think he was that irresistible. Damn. “Watch where you’re-” He cut himself mid-sentence once he noticed it was Chase. Tommy was jumpy and paranoid and he needed to calm down, if not, who knew what his uneasiness would get him into with his strength. “It’s okay, just, yeah..” He trailed off rather awkwardly. Chase was one of the few people in which Tommy didn’t know much about and seeing him again, he was glad to keep it that way.

Rose had been in the line for what felt like hours, her denim clad legs shuffled around impatiently as she got closer to the front. She tried her hardest not to think about the scribbled note that now lay in the bin she was closest to. It was as though every time they got comfortable, moving on with their lives and making something of themselves, it would be ripped away and tarnished with the arrival of a new dare box keeper. She wouldn’t allow it to phase her, not just yet. It was nothing more than a shallow threat. What could they do to hurt her now? Whittemore didn’t control her. Rose was bought back to reality when the ticket holder shuffled her along into the Ferris wheel cart, but not before another person sat beside her. The ride jolted forwards and they began their ascent. The crowds of people began to get smaller and smaller and Rose let out a lengthy sigh. “The world looks far less complicated from up here, don’t you think?” she said dreamily, turning to look at the person beside her.

The heat of the day started to overwhelm Tommy within seconds of someone bumping into him. He wasn’t sure if the weather was to blame or if it was the scribbled note that seemed to be burning a hole through his shorts and for a second, Tommy swore he could feel a sharp sting on his prosthetic leg. Desperate to catch some sort of a breeze or air, he figured the only place he could escape from the big crowd would be to get on the Ferris wheel, he didn’t mind having to get in with a stranger, perhaps they wouldn’t be too much of a bother, at least he hoped. His hand flew to his fake leg, gently squeezing it in attempts to calm his nerves, his eyes watched the crowd below him. “I agree. Maybe its because no one can reach you up here or maybe its the breeze.” He shrugged, turning to see none other than Rose. Within an instant he looked back down and over at her again. Had he been the first loser to break the fucking pact? He couldn’t be. A million thoughts running through his head, but one sticking out: I need to jump and get away. Surely he wouldn’t be harmed, if anything, he’d hurt the ground.

♛ THOMAS ADAMSON is TWENTY-TWO years old. He is a WHITTEMORE ORIGINAL and it’s often said he looks like ROBBIE AMELL. Unfortunately, he is currently TAKEN. 

It was complicated to explain how Thomas Adamson had gone from a complete idiot almost overnight. His family had found it especially hard to fathom the concept that their stupid but lovable son had disappeared to live in Hawaii with his girlfriend and not spoken to them for nearly three years only to return for a school reunion firstly a new man and secondly missing a leg. Tommy’s dreams of football were over and his family, huge as it was, all struggled to understand what had happened during the period of his disappearance.

He couldn’t of explained even if he wanted to. Heightened intelligence didn’t help him understand any more than he previously would have how he had been mentally and somewhat physically altered to be stronger and faster than most. Tommy had given up on being bitter about how naivety had been stolen from him due to his own entrance into a world of mad science; he was more concerned about the true casualty of his and Camille’s relationship. His ex-girlfriend may have stolen his ignorant bliss, choice and eventually even his leg but her disappearance did not sit well with him at all.

Even after Whittemore had left him for the final time and he had been reunited with his siblings, parents and some old friends he had thought he’d seen the last of he never made any attempts to explain what had happened that had changed him or why he and Camille had arrived at such an abrupt end. It became clear that it was easier that way and within six months people cared much less about his mental switch up and much more about his physical one. Even with one leg Tommy was incredibly strong. His strength propelled him to the title of strongest man in the world, a feat for any human never mind one considered physically disabled.

Within three months of earning his title he was propelled to internet infamy that would surely outlive him. No heavy weight champion, no long term and well trained athlete, no man or woman (besides one who was nowhere to be seen) was able to compare to his strength. At the heights of his fame he was convinced by a publicist to use his fame to promote the fact that a disability did not mean you could not accomplish your dreams. Tommy Adamson would become the protegee of amputee gold medallist Jonathan Peacock and with the help of Sydney Evans he was sure to be the next winner of gold in the 100m sprint.
