I’ve been thinking a lot about how #berniewrightson and #kelleyjones #ink thinking about textures and how those textures play against and with each other is extremely important and I want to capitalize on it. #theneverendingstory has been a great spring board for me to practice these skills in the realm of #fantasy and I plan on working on a few more and #coloring the ones I’ve already completed. By no means have I mastered the art of Rendering like Wrightson but videos from @richard_friend have certainly helped me think about how to ink more efficiently. If you’re an inker, storyteller, or comic fan check out his helpful channel! • Another great resource is @svslearn and @jakeparker class on inking! I highly highly recommend it, definitely worth every penny. • I will be using some of these new inking techniques I’m working on to illustrate some moments from #theneverendingstory I know this property has a dedicated fan base, and I think it needs some more illustrations to energize the community. @skottieyoung has done some great work with it, and I figured I’d throw my hat into the ring. @theneverendingstory_fanpage @neverendingstory.pictures • This is my first image of #auryn I hope you enjoy it!
