Well, I'm finally back. Thank you so much to those of you who have sent kind words and encouragement. You are all the best! Losing a parent is tough and it definitely redirected my life a bit, but one thing that did not change is my love of Chelsie and this fandom. I'll never be able to get enough of it. I hope this update doesn't disappoint and I hope you are all well and enjoying the holiday season. Cheers!

She’s one of my sweetest friends - sometimes we just keep each other from killing other people, and that’s okay. <3 The following link is part of her birthday gift - a little something we discussed so long ago that we kept forgetting about it. It’s kind of about friendship … or it may be, someday, if we ever get our shit together enough to ever continue it. I’m kinda throwing her under the bus here, but she’ll forgive me.

So...I've been away for quite some time. My dad died soon after my last fanfic post and life has been, well, a bit of a roller coaster, to say the least. I knew losing a parent would be tough, but it was made so much more difficult by watching my children lose their Papa. I've had to take the past months to focus on my kids, helping them to mitigate their feelings and learn how to navigate life without one of their most favorite people. It hasn't been easy. Watching my kids at their games looking over for their "biggest fan" and realizing he'll never again be there was a tough one. We've gotten through and we have learned so much together and one lesson their young hearts have embraced is to appreciate life; to appreciate every moment and to appreciate those they love because life is unpredictable.

With that said, I need to apologize to everyone who has reached out and asked if I'm ever going to continue my fics. My footprint in this fandom and world is small, but I really appreciate those who have not forgotten about me or my writing. I will keep going, and hopefully soon. Also, I am diving into my reading again and I am going to try voraciously to catch up on so much Chelsie. I have missed them, and your writing, and I can't wait to be part of this world again.
