Starscream 3D printable figurine!!!!

ALL HAIL STARSCREAM !!!

He is about 43 cm tall (1.41 feet or 2.418 bananas), from his feet to his wing tips, depending on his wing position. This model is very much inspired and made to go with @solid-helium 's Soundwave, so I scaled Starscream based on him. He is movable at his ankles, knees, hips, torso, neck, shoulders, elbows and wrists. This is achieved via Lego hinges (credit for this idea goes to Solidhelium as well). There are 5 different, interchangeable hand models, held in place with magnets. His wing position is movable in the sense, that you can choose how far up or down tilted they are. There are two head models, which can be exchanged. One with a smug smile, the other with terrified puppy eyes.(if that doesn't sum up Starscreams entire existence lmao). He can stand surprisingly well. He cannot transform!! 

OMG hes finally done. This was a crazy little project and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I had a lot of fun and learned lots of new things about Blender. If you decide to make this for yourself, I would love to see the results. Pls pls pls tag me on tumblr. Special thanks go to:

I am legit regretting using Gumroad rn.

Long story short, there was a misplaced vertex on the chest part, creating a little spike, that I just noticed now (cuz I’m printing another one) How did it get there ?? No fucking idea. It wasn’t on the first print.

Anyway not the end of the world. Even if it’s already printed it’s pretty easy to shave off. I fixed it on the model and updated the page. And there’s this neat little feature to send a notification to everyone who’s downloaded it. Nice.

Spend the last 3 weeks learning more Blender and modeling him. And I already printed the most important parts lmao

When he’s done and I’m sure everything works I’ll upload the model, so stay tuned!

Slowly working my way through it. Had to print all these parts at least twice cuz one thing or another didn’t work. You can tell this is my first time making something like this lol. The chest is printing right now and if everything fits there then I just have to mirror everything.

Soundwave 3D printable movable model

It’s Soundwave! It is 40 centimeters tall (for americans it’s 0,0043 football fields or 1.3 feet) From the bottom of the feet to the highest

I scaled him to 75%, so he’s only about 30 cm tall, cuz he wouldn’t fit on my shelf otherwise. Also printed my own joints to fit with the scale. Printing him with my Bambu lab A1 mini actually worked pretty well overall.

Might have the audacity to try and make my own Starscream now…

Captain Hans Westergaard and the hellish beast called Mango

Look, Frozen is one of my guilty pleasures and Hans might have been my first villain “crush” (8 year old me walked out of that cinema like “I can fix him!”). So reading The Pirate of the Southern Isles by @pirate-of-the-southern-isles has been an absolute pleasure. It’s got redemption and pirates and a hella intriguing plot and I love it very much! She has fire and birds already. Making a lying down version might be fun but you can’t really see that from the road. Maybe I’ll just put a “it fucken wimdy” sign or something.

Behold: Minibocken!

After 2023 my dad and me became slightly obsessed with the gävle goat and last summer the idea to build our own mini version was born. We spend a week building her after work and now she is finally complete (the lights took a while to arrive). She is 2 meters tall and has christmas lights with a glimmering effect.

Sadly I’m not allowed to burn her down :(

Here are some progress pictures for anyone that’s interested.

We tried to use what we saw of her skeleton in 2023 as guidelines. Then she was covered with chicken wire to cover the gaps and we kinda sandwiched the straw with another layer of chicken wire.

She probably cost around 100€ (not including straw, we already had that lying around) which is why my dad doesn’t want to burn her. Also he wants to use her as decoration for the local harvest festivals in the summer.

So she will probably have an eventful life, but when her skeleton eventually is too rotten she will finally get to taste the flames and if it’s the last thing I do!!
