Leaving the Hive

Today was the day. He would be leaving the hive into the oceans by himself today. Trying to find his mate like he was told he needed to. Stepping out of the hive into the water around he floated there for a moment before setting off into the water hoping... that maybe his mate would be out there waiting for him.

What's the first thing youd like to do when you get to go to the surface?

Well … I’ve never been 9ut 9f the water at least t9 my kn9wledge 9ther than when I was first hatched as a gru6… S9 I supp9se getting a chance t9 l99k ar9und and see everything will 6e nice. H9wever meeting 9ther tr9lls seems t9 be a g99d idea as well. I sup9se that I w9uld 6e searching f9r my mate at that p9int. S9 that w9uld have t9 take precedence. 6ut failing that getting t9 kn9w a69ut the differences in culture will 6e nice!

Have you ever heard of/seen Latula?

Miss. Pyr9pe c9rrect? She is 9ne 9f the few tr9lls that Meenah keeps in c9ntact with and thr9gh Meenah I have heard 9f her and talked t9 her a few times 9ver tr9llian. Fr9m what I have gathered she is quite nice t9 say the least. 6ut I have never seen her in pers9n, Meenah and I live at the depths 9f the 9cean, it w9uld 6e quite hard for her t9 visit.

Do you watch anyone on the surface from the water?

D9 I watch any9ne 9n the surface? Well… When I get the chance t9 g9 9ut I d9 like t9 watch 9ther Tr9lls. H9wever it’s n9t easy f9r me t9 get cl9se en9ugh t9 the surface t9 watch any 9f the land-dwellers. The guards Meenah send with me keep me fr9m getting that cl9se t9 the surface. I caught a glimpse 9f a land-dweller 9nce 6efore 6eing esc9rted 6ack for 6reaking the rules. I d9n’t really remem6er much 9f them… Apparently they my gaurds and Meenah 6elive land-dwellers t9 6e a danger t9 me.  I d9 wish that I c9uld see them th9ugh, it must be nice t9 have so many 9ther tr9lls to talk t9 9ut there.
