I was catching up reading wodconfessions and it's a bit funny to see that every other post is "they fu- representation of... (insert non-white het cis)". Guys, this is classic white wolf. It's just that it isn't the 90s anymore and they could actually hire someone, or at least have someone that speaks such and such language check whatever

Vicissitude

I'm back! and I had been away lately due to getting sick which really knocked me out for a couple of weeks but I'm doing a lot better and have made some art for the @meat-week event that celebrates the Vampire the Masquerade clan Tzimisce on Tumblr! https://www.tumblr.com/meat-week/813178127099576320/this-is-intended-to-be-very-low-key-do-things-at?source=share

I thought I'd start with showing off my Tzimisce Aimi using her Vicissitude to transform one of her Ghouls into a colourful tentacle monster! Whenever Aimi does some intense flesh crafting she always dresses up in a pretty pink nurse's uniform as it helps her get in the swing of things. All of Aimi creations tend to be monstrous, colourful and unusual but never boring!

I had a lot of fun making this piece and it felt good to draw some body horror again, and drawing Aimi is always fun. :3 Honestly I wanted to do this event since I have been neglecting my vtm ocs, especially my Tzimisce ones and I thought this would be a good chance to give them some love. I can't promise that I'll be able to do all of the days in time to post them but I do plan to draw them all even if it's posted late.

I'm tired of Tzimisce being so underutilised and shallow in VtM media. Tzim characters only appearing out of the blue as Sabbat torturehobo boogeyman eldritch abominations so often in chronicles is sad

Their bane, compulsion and the vicissitude discipline combined with their generally individualistic clan culture should be a breeding ground for diverse characters from all walks of life, who end up being in all of the sects. There is so much potential not only for inhuman, evil monsters to be in the clan, but creatures who cling to their humanity for dear (un)life despite the odds, especially in modern nights

I think that, at the very least, every Tzimisce character should be treated as a wild card of sorts, someone who can shake up the status quo, and not someone to immediately become the antagonist

Kinda disappointed by how many teen vampires there are in the VTM metaplot, but the horror of being stuck in a transitional stage is rarely addressed if it's addressed at all.

I'd also like to see VTM make up its mind about whether child and teen vampires can grow up mentally or if they're stuck at the age when they were embraced.

here's a thought: if a vampire gets embraced as a teen, besides the body horror, do they get permanently immature brains as well?

Because that would explain a lot.

Also, it should go without saying, but maturing academically is not the same thing.
