Used AfterEffects to create a multiplane shot. The planes were done in Flash, using a Bamboo tablet.
An #animation clip I put together, with some audio from that #IndependenceDay movie with #willsmith. It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it. #3D #maya2013 #art #design #3danimation #Adobe #premierepro
Just a quick sketch I did. Female robot or sorts.
Did a layout design for the late Roger Ebert's review of the Avengers. I had to cut out some parts of the review to fit the text in there. The title at the top was done using Photoshop CS5 (pretty much just messing with the layers, using a clipping mask, dropping the shadow, and using some bevel and emboss), as well as the background, featuring several Avengers comic books. All in all, everything was compiled and arranged in InDesign CS5.5.
Some character sketches. I eventually went with the first one to the left as my flagship for future projects. He may go through some slight redesigns, though. Might use the rest as supporting characters.
Using InDesign CS5.5. Just a book cover dedicated to Geralt of Rivia (from the Witcher series) and Drizzt Do'Urden from Dungeons and Dragons. Imagine the both of them in a crossover... Anyway, the images aren't mine. The font is Mason Regular, which was once used for the the Witcher title. Feedback is appreciated.
My first 2D animated walk cycle. Sadly, it's more of a power walk. LOL. Nonetheless, I think it was a good effort. I'll post a more refined one later.
Thank you immensely for the following~
You're welcome.
A 2D animation reel I worked on a few months back using Flash CS6. Billy and the Punching Bag. Enjoy. Leave feedback. Until next time...
The traditional approach is failing us. It’s time for a change.
I’ve had it.
I will no longer encourage aspiring artists to attend art school. I just won’t do it. Unless you’re given a full ride scholarship (or have parents with money to burn), attending art school is a waste of your money.
I have a diploma from the best public art school in the nation. Prior to that I attended the best private art school in the nation. I’m not some flaky, disgruntled art graduate, either. I have a quite successful career, thankyouverymuch.
But I am saddened and ashamed at art schools and their blatant exploitation of students. Graduates are woefully ill-prepared for the realities of being professional artists and racked with obscene amounts of debt. By their own estimation, the cost of a four year education at RISD is $245,816. As way of comparison, the cost of a diploma from Harvard Law School is a mere $236,100.
This is embarrassing. It’s downright shameful. That any art school should deceive its students into believing that this is a smart decision is cruel and unusual. [READ MORE…]
My drawings of the skeletal system of muscular system. I've been told they were good, but they can be better.
Kitten....
One of my early attempts at life-like drawings. I think I did okay.
