Weâre 231 today.
It was 231 years ago this week â Jan. 27, 1785, to be precise â that the members of the Georgia General Assembly established the University of Georgia as the first public land-grant university. Â That's why we celebrate Founders Week (check out all the events).Â

UGA students donate tiny house to organic farmer in middle Georgia
Students learning green building concepts donated their 'Tiny Dawg House' to an organic farmer in middle Georgia. The tiny house constructed by students in the 'Green Building and the Tiny House Movement' course at UGArden includes solar panels and a composting toilet.
Tiny houses are considered green and affordable because of their small size and low-maintenance amenities, said Peter Hartel, professor in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who constructed a tiny house in his backyard.

Hi Everyone, Here is a personal update! - for those of you curious about my work
An Atlanta newspaper recently interviewed me and wrote an article about me. Iâve had several asks recently about what Iâve done to get to NASA and this article does a good job at explaining it. Check it out if you want, I honestly would not have had this opportunity if it werenât for you guys! Thank you so much!
Way to go, Caleb!Â
