My Banban characters redesign!

this is really corny and cringe and I was ashamed of posting this and I still am. But I had this idea for weeks and everytime I open my journal I see THAT 👁️👁️ so I just gave in.

This is a long post I apologise. I’ll explain why I designed them the way I did. (There’s also two parts)

Flumbo & Banban

I always imagined them as twins of some sort. Because 1. they have the same design (or the same mold) and they also just give the vibes they are brothers. So in this design they are twins! Banban is the ‘principal’ of the kindergarten instead of 1, why not have two? (Vice principal and principal) Flumbo would be the vice while Banban would be main. Other than this they’d be the mascots. I don’t know if this is controv but I’d also give them suits or some sort of collars and ties. Thats it (I think)

Ophila bird

Ophila bird with a some sort of Mohawk would go hardddd. When I hear the name Ophila, I just imagine a old rockstar in the 80s and then the rockstar became a parent but still had the same sparkle as they did back then. I definitely imagine that and it would be really funny to see a bird play a guitar…

Jumbo Josh

Jumbo Josh and if I were to rename him and rename him to Jonjo and I have NO IDEA why!! Anyway I’d imagine he’d be WAY bigger (almost the size of the stalker) his eyeballs would be sunken and he’d have a wide mouth with multiple rows of teeth. I also imagined he’d be growing barnacles on his body and face.

Banbalena

Banbalena and ALSO if I were to rename her, I’d rename her to Rina or Lena (or even combined; Rinalena) or even Balina. So she’d be separate from Banban, I didn’t really just want her to be the female counterpart of Banban and rather her own singular entity, who HAPPENS to look like both banban and flunbo’s mold. She’d have pink eyeshadows and glasses because when I think of a teacher I think they wear glasses. She’d have two bows on her ears or stumps???? She’d also have dimples! She would wear clothes, I DEE to the KAY why I didn’t draw it on. Just know she would have a similar fit to Banban and Flumbo.

Dadadoo

The last of the bunch for this part. (My phone is lagging) but I personally hate Dadadoo, HATE. Still I drew him, as I thought of him as a mafia boss. Who’d send his followers to go run errands or do jobs. I gave him a fedora and he’d have a white blouse with a purple vest. I was looking at his old design and apparently he has gloves?? So drop that too!!! That’s all on him really

My Banban character redesign part 2!!

hnghfjhhhhhg part 2 to my designs. Never ever knew there was a limit to how many photos you can put. I learn new things everyday while being on this website…. ANYWAY enough dallying, unto part 2!

Syringeon

Syringeon’s one was actually pretty like I’m not sure of the word but I definitely had a brain blast for him, he does. Kinda look like uh Medic from TF2 and I only found it out when I was digitally sketching him so if you see the resemblance he wasn’t inspo, purely by accident (😭) anyway, I imagine he’d carry a big syringe on his back, he’d still very very much have his six arms (I just didn’t draw full body) he’d have goggles on his eyes and you know those machines in eye tests where they test your lense, that’s the thing that’s on top of his left goggle. On the one singular hand I drew, he’d have a magnet. I think of a really cool chase scene would be to see that in motion! He’d have a doctor lab coat and that’s really it for him!

Bittergiggle

My Bittergiggle redesign was inspired by one of my previous drawings of him (the doodle post) and I really liked it and it stuck to me when I was redesigning. Bittergig is a court jester (to me anyway) so I gave him more of a jester like outfit. Rather than it being his whole body/mold it would be his almost like a onesie, I was looking through his models and his middle part (the spilt) can break in half and reveal teeth! It reminded me of another critter… (Yarnaby) so I decided to make it look like stitches and once he gets infected by the naughty ones, the surgical stitches break and reveal. I gave him eyeshadow and some amazing eyelashes ^^ I really like how it came out!

Nabnab

Jimmy neutron hit me when I was redesigning him. Nabnab is BACKWARDS for Banban idk if I was dumb or this was js seriously never said but like GEE. Anyway Nabnab is also Banban’s best friend so I gave him the same party cups that Banban has. He has more of a (I’m not gonna say the insect cuz I fear it coming to my room) but he looks like THAT and less spidery. Also has a lot of teeth 👁️👁️ that it but I did feel stupid when writing his name.

Stinger Flynn

YAY my favourite one by FAR! Stinger Flynn is an octopus yes, but I gave him more of a flowy, jellyfish like coat. More tentacles and he’d be large probably the size of original Jumbo Josh. Nothing else to really say on him. Though enjoy how he looks!
