“i didn’t. but i was still able to find my way through the castle within the first couple days.”

   “ YEAH, because you had a Prefect to guide you - didn’t you? I mean, it’s the fifth year Prefects’ job to do that now.”

“i understand that they’re first years, but we’ve been in school for awhile now. if they don’t know where their classes are, i’m concerned.”

   “ WELL, i’m pretty sure you didn’t know all the classes from the castle when you were a first year either.”

“Weird…” Emma mimicked. “How so, really weird?” Emma questioned the redhead as they fell into step with each other. “Me? Probably really weird as well.”

  “ Well, my brothers always make fun of me when it’s the time to leave for Hogwarts - this year they’ve wished me luck.It was really weird.” Molly shrugged her shoulders. “ And what about you? Why weird?”

“Thank you.” She smiled. “I wasn’t planning on killing anyone, no worries.” Emma picked up her papers and turned back to the older girl. “How has everything been?”

    “ It has been...quiet alright. Really weird, if you ask me - like...REALLY weird. “ the redhead shrugged her shoulders, smiling lightly towards the other. “ And what about you? Besides almost killing someone.”

“molly, it’s not just your last year.” elliot chuckled. “and besides - that’s why i’d imagine you were doing something… questionable.”

    “ I know, I know - it’s just that...I have no plan for my future. Like NO plan at all. OH, wow. You’re the first ever person to think I’ve done something wrong.I like that.”

Emma gathered what she could before standing back up to her normal height. Her wand found its way to her hand as she prepared to fix what damage she could. “I started on it the other day.”

    The redhead nodded  as she mumbled a charm, watching the writting fix itsself, breathing in relief as she looked up at the other. “ Ta-da! No need to kill anyone.”

“You’re bleeding but only like, a smidgen.” Quick dark eyes scanned the rest of her copper hair. “To be fair I probably would have said you were just to get you to have a crack at killing the bugger but you actually are.”

     “ I’d never invent something JUST to hurt someone, plus..there’s no actual way I could hurt Peeves. it is?” she asked, eyebrows narrowed towards the toher.

     “ the THING IS....he can’t be killed. because he is already dead. and I think it would be way easier for me to get away with murder than you.thanks for the opinion though.”

     HOLD HER BREATH? Winry felt she could barely breathe as it was, but she tried to focus on that. Tried to make herself stop, just calm down because she hated how it all came out at once like this. When her eyes opened again, she realised her breathing was coming much more normally. “I think I - I think I’m better.”

     “ Do you...do you want to take a small walk around the lake?” she asked softly, her hand still on Winry’s back as she still could feel the other’s body being tensed. “ Or we could just stay here - going back into the castle being off the list for now.”

“i don’t know, prewett,” elliot shrugged, lifting an ankle until it rested on the opposite knee. “you just seem shifty.”

   “ shifty?” Molly hrugged her shoulders innocently. “ I am just stressed over this being MY last year. nothing important at all, really.”

      SHE TRIED TO do as the other said, but all she could do was take shallow, ragged breaths.  It felt different from just regular crying. She felt like she couldn’t breathe and she hated that someone else was seeing this. “I’m s-sorry. I’m s-so s-s-sorry. I don’t kn-know what is wrong with me.”

        “ Shh, sh - it’s okay.” Molly was freaking out herself - unsure of WHAT to do in situations like this, she calmly rubbed the other’s back. “ Take big breaths of air, alright? I am going to get you some water soon.” she told the other calmly while taking her wand out. “ Or maybe...hold your breath. I think i’ve read once that it helps. Hold your breath.”
