Let’s give Tumblr another chance…

I got my first tattoo recently, done by incredibly talented artist Uncogrim (IG)

I’ve heard that people don’t like being asked what their tattoos mean but I will happily sound off on the significance of the snake/serpent as a mythological symbol 😋 I am particularly into the idea of transformation and rebirth, shedding the old skin. If you want to get Biblical, I also consider the snake to represent the start of a journey to self-awareness and self-knowledge (And let’s not forget the connection to Medusa)
