I’m going to be taking the night off here to process things myself.  I’m sorry if they theories set anyone up for disappointment.  And I’m sorry the writers didn’t pay things off how some of us wanted.

Okay, first of all, @agl03 has the right to speculate all she wants. She made logical assumptions based off of what were were PROMISED by the writers. Is is her fault that those promises weren’t fulfilled? No.

Second of all, since no one has to listen to her or agree with what she says, it’s not her fault what other people’s expectations were. You are responsible for your own thoughts, anon. So is everyone else.

Third of all, theorizing about what MIGHT happen isn’t the same as saying it WILL happen. Obviously.

Third of all, it was THE SHOW that set these expectations by setting up things (marriage, unbreakable love) and not delivering. THE SHOW is what people are bitter about, if they’re bitter. The writers made promises; @agl03 just made guesses based off of those promises. If you’re mad about expectations, blame the right person, at least.

Fourth, @agl03 is constantly telling people to manage their expectations, so if she DID set fan expectations, NO ONE would be disappointed.

And fifth, you are a huge jerk for being so cruel to someone who is so kind. 

In short, anon: grow up and leave my friend alone.

this is an extremely belated birthday fic to the incredible, wonderful, stellar @clearascountryair. Em, there aren’t really any words I can say to describe how much you mean to me, except that you’re the Jemma Simmons to my Daisy Johnson, and I love you very, very much. <3

The worst thing, he thinks, is that he remembers all of it.

His fingers grip the sink as he leans forward, head bowed, inhaling and exhaling inhaling and exhaling inhaling and—

It’s too much.

Everyone and everything. He can’t escape. He blinks rapidly but the world becomes more unfocused, unreal, and his heart beats unnaturally fast.

His left hand begins to shake.

He keeps his head bowed.

Remembers enjoying it.

Remembers wanting her approval and love. Needing it. Remembers feeling that he would cross the universe for her, and thinking that this is who he was, and that he knew who he was.

He remembers killing for her.

Somebody’s knocking at the door, calling his name. He thinks it might be Jemma.

He doesn’t care.

Fitz finally lifts his head, and stares into the mirror.

But all he can see is The Doctor staring back.

Why John Blamed Sherlock

I just realized something... when John ran into the room where Mary was shot, it was AFTER she jumped in front of Sherlock. He didn't see that. All he saw was his wife lying I the ground bleeding out. He didn't know that she voluntarily saved Sherlock. I'm sure someone eventually told him, but in that moment, when he told Sherlock, heartbroken, in shock, and full of anger "You made a vow!" he, not knowing the situation, most likely assumed that Mary was in danger, shot at, and killed and Sherlock did nothing to stop it happening. Add that to the fact the John was probably racked with guilt over the fact that he cheated/considered cheating (personally I think they never did anything serious) and his wife believed him to be faithful and perfect till the end, and his hate for Sherlock and his yelling is most likely a reflection of his hate for himself, which natural human nature would cause him to need someone to channel the anger towards. of course it is unreasonable for John to CONTINUE to blame Sherlock, but right now, John Watson is a broken man. He's showing real human emotion, which hate to break it to you, isn't always pretty. It can't always be rationally explained. This is something you NEVER see in television: someone reacting the way they would in real life. In conclusion: am I disappointed in John Watson? Yes, of course. Do I hate John Watson? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm heartbroken at the spot his character is in. I'm scared about what's going to happen. But in the end, the reason I have always loved John Waston is because of his humanity. And it's never been more obvious how truly human he is, even when it makes us frustrated. So please let's stop the hate on John Watson :)
