Follow Lana Ending

What if you had voted differently? What if Akari and Lana’s words had swayed you...? What if....

The voting came to an end, slowly, but surely.

“Voting has concluded!” Tara’s voice ripped you from your own thoughts. “You chose… to follow!”

It was the only way right? You couldn’t trust Rex, and you couldn’t trust the Future Foundation.. Lana’s power would keep you safe, right? She would protect you in her new world… It was the only way to keep living…

Lana smiled, and let out a small giggle…

“Heheheh.. I’m glad to see you aren’t as dense as I thought, it seems you do know some sense. If you’re to follow me then.. Let’s get to work, starting with cleaning up some loose ends. Tara! Activate the final punishment protocol!”

“Yes Ma’am!” A mechanical whirring filled the room. “Rex Coleman, Aiko Tsukino, Alice Evergreen, and Hideo Akikaze have been found guilty. Commencing the execution!”

This was it.. The final punishment, then you’d be safe.The floor underneath the four who had broken into the building opened up, and darkness swallowed them…

30 Leagues Under!

The screen lights up, and you can see all of them, sitting in what seems to be an office. All four of them are chained up and strapped into thrones. Tara’s voice rings out over a speaker.

“I wonder, how well can you bozos handle the weight of your sins? Uhuhuh, try not to drown under the pressure~!”

Water started flooding into the room, quickly reaching up to their ankles, and climbing up to their knees. It wasn’t long until, despite their struggles, they were all completely submerged. The weight of the thrones and chains and bindings, all kept them from floating up to air. They continued to struggle, but they were running out of air. Bubbles escaped from their mouths, and eventually they stopped struggling.

Aiko, Rex, Hideo, and Alice have been executed! 6 Survivors remain!

And that was all she wrote… With them out of the way, Lana turned to the 5 remaining and smiled.

“Lucida, Shingo, Nikki, Terumi, Akari. Congratulations, you have officially won the Future Foundation Mutual Killing Game, If you’ll follow me, I’ll take you to your prize~!”

Lana led you into the elevator, which brought you down several floors. She led you through familiar halls, and eventually into the pod room. Weren’t they deactivated…?

Lana types on a keyboard and 5 pods open up. “Climb on in.” She smiles sweetly. You don’t really have a choice do you..? You climb in. Lana smiles again, and turns to a camera. “Tara, activate the Reformation Initiative!”

The pod whirs to life around you, and you feel the hair on the back of your neck stand up, and you then black out.

Years later…

Lana stands at a cliff’s edge, overlooking the ruin of a once sprawling metropolis. With the future foundation leaders dead, no one could stop Lana, and the world has become one of murder and controlled chaos. Behind the Ultimate Despair Lana, we can see 5 other figures…

The ultimate despair, Shingo Takeshi. The general of Lana’s army, he inspires her forces from the front lines, and it’s said that with his immeasurable combat prowess, he and his soldiers are unconquerable in battle

The ultimate despair, Nikki Furusawa. Their maddening paintings are said to corrupt any who look at them. Their art is one of the main components to Lana’s mass reformation of the common people.

The ultimate despair, Terumi Yuuma. A cultural icon, who’s siren song no one can resist. Her music is coded with hidden subliminal messages that corrupt any who hear it. Her music is the other main component to Lana’s mass reformation.

The ultimate despair, Akari Momosaki. With her at Lana’s side, it’s impossible to out strategize. Any twist, or plan, or double cross that the enemy cooked up, Akari would see in a second.

And The ultimate despair, Lucida McLure. No secret is safe from her ears. With her and Akari’s focus combined, it’s impossible to act against the despairs. Nowhere is safe, and nowhere is hidden.

Lana’s grasp on this world is impossible to escape. In the end, she’s won. This is the fate the world was fated for, from the very beginning, through all the mutual killing games, Lana has taken that chaos and created a world of order and total control. Some might call her a savior, others a dictator, but no matter what they call her, Lana knows the truth. She knows what she is.

She is Despair.

What if they chose Plan 2? Execute Lana [Assassinate the Queen]

The time had came and the votes had came in in favor of executing Lana as the Mastermind for the third game of despair that had reigned over not only Japan but the world as a whole. With a soft tsk Lana spoke once more…

“So I see...you rather execute me and let the world stay in ruins than punish the one who started it all to begin with….very well~I refuse to live in a world with imbeciles anyways…”

Lana had been prepared for this outcome ahead of time of course, she knew that as time went on, people seemed to have lost all sense of intelligence when it came to actually trusting someone like Rex Coleman with their lives. As Lana stood before everyone a small laugh escaped her lips as she scanned the trial room and spoke once more.

“If executing me is truly what you choose, then so be it~ I wish you luck in the world that will slowly but surely kill you all due to me not being there to lead you~”

She covered her mouth as she giggled to herself, eyes still locking onto Akari for a moment as she said her final words..

“At least you, Akari dear made this whole thing less insufferable...you actually had the brains to believe I was a great leader...which truly I could still have been~ But it seems that everyone else rather rot alongside each other…”

As the execution began, the floor underneath the Finanical Advisor opened and caused her to take the long fall beneath the floor. This was the final execution you would witness...right? There would be no more after this...with Lanas defeat you were all set to be freed...but was this truly the right answer to the already tarnished world? It was too late to change your mind now as Lanas fate was sealed and her demise was about to take place.

As Lana fell and eventually landed in a chair she was met with a rather familiar sight when she opened her eyes. It was her office...well a replica of her office at least which caused a small smile to cross her lips as she tried to get to her feet but found that she had been tied down by her waist to the back of the chair. As she tried to reach back to untie herself she then realized that she cold feel cold metal binding her wrists together...she had been handcuffed as well with a pair of what seemed to be specially made handcuffs in the shape of a dollar sign.

“Well that’s not a very fair fight is it?”

Before Lana could pout to herself more, she began to hear loud yelling and banging against the walls of the office followed by the swift footsteps of people running in the halls and towards her before the door slammed open only to reveal two familiar figures; Reikon An’nai and Haruka Fujita darting straight at her with inhuman like grins on their faces as they dashed and attempted to free her from her captivity in her chair. The figures seemed to be feverishly tugging and pulling at the restraint keeping her stuck to the lowly office chair, pulling tightly at the binding chain that kept her stuck on the chair causing it to pinch and cut her as it came loose and dropped to the floor with a loud clatter. As the chain dropped the two boys ran out of the room before turning around with wicked grins taunting Lana to follow them.

Lana quickly got to her feet, whimpering at pain the two apparent doppelgangers of her former friends had left her with and stumbled towards the door as she heard the running footsteps of the two boys running down the hall. With a look of anger and hunger for revenge she found herself chasing after them only to find herself running right past the door she had just exited from.

“...What..?”

A simple phrase escaped her lips as she felt the stinging pain of something driving into her upper back followed by the throbbing pain of a blade being dragged down her back as she flinched and tried to run, beginning to scream from the amount of pain the blade in her back had caused. The sound of distorted laughter could be heard from behind her as she attempted to run down a different hall in the office before seeing a dark figure that resembled Terumi ran right towards her and stabbed her in the abdomen before Lana had the chance to turn around and run. Before Lana knew it she had began to cough up blood as she attempted to run from the doppleganger of Terumi, only to stumble and fall and continue to cough up more blood.   

As Lana began to stand back up, she continued to try and run back in the direction she originally had came in only to find that there were more shadowy yet distorted figures that resembled the fellow students she had captured running towards her. With heavy breathing and wheezing Lana attempted to turn back around and ran in a different direction attempting to lose her attackers once more but ended up leading them further to where she was heading as once again, the office looped and she was back where she started but with the rest of the students. As she stared at them she snarled, refusing to give up so easily to their attacks as she quickly looked around on where to go as they darted towards her. Before Lana could think, her body began to run in the direction behind her and down a corridor that she hoped would have a room for her to hide in. Stumbling down the hall, Lana felt the pinpricks of blades driving themselves into her shoulders each time she attempted to check a door with her hands still firmly bound in their handcuffs. One door...Two door…. Three door….

“H-Hah...Hah…”

Lana looked back at the angry mass of figures with their knives drawn and nowhere to run. Eyes scanning a way for her to dart past them but there was no empty space. Lana felt herself shrinking against the wall behind her as they got closer to her, a few of them lunging their dagger like knives towards her neck and Lana successfully dodging them before the dagger knife that belonged to the doppleganger of Matsuo plunged the blade of the knife into Lanas throat as she crumpled to the ground looking up at him in shock before she felt Akaris doppelganger shove her knife deep into the financial advisors chest as Lana struggled against the varying stab wounds she received from the feverishly attacking doppelgangers. Stab after stab the shadowy figures took their turns slicing and stabbing at the now thoroughly bloody Lana that laid limp on the ground against the office hall wall as the figures of former captures continued to plunge their blades into her with no sign of stopping.

The sound of choking and gasping for air could be heard from Lana as she continued to cough up the blood that filled her lungs until she couldn’t cough anymore,slumping over onto her side as the figures continued to assassinate her leaving nothing but a pool of red below her.

Plan 3: Forgive Lana

When it came down to deciding whether or not to punish Lana or to follower her crazy ways, you just couldn’t bring yourself to execute her.

The Future Foundation seemed to be keen on keeping Rex in captivity... Perhaps they could hang onto Lana too? Perhaps she could be redeemed as well?

Their fallen friends won’t come back, but will killing the person who put them in this game really satisfy their grief?

The Crash of Thunder | Ch 6 Body Discovery

The crash echoed throughout the building, and with it carries a blood curdling scream. Rushing to the source, you hurry into the ballroom, and you see him...

You flashback to the second victim, Yumi Atsumi, and how shattered glass cracked under your feet as you approached the body. The same happened here, scattered pieces of broken chandelier crunch beneath your shoe as you stepped closer to the body of Matsuo Mito, the former SHSL Meteorologist. 

You don’t know what to do when his head twitches... “...H-Help me......” and then lolls to the side. It seems his wounds were too much for him to handle this time...

He had always advocated for taking the logical approach to his problems, but now he wasn’t around to keep your heads screwed on tight. The only thing left to do is search for evidence and figure out who doomed the meteorologist to his demise...

MATSUO MITO HAS BEEN MURDERED. INVESTIGATION, BEGIN!

More Visitors?

You heard the alarms going off and head towards the front doors to see what was going on. Is it freedom? Is it something worse? You hear more unknown voices yet these seem a bit familiar... Who could be joining you now?

???: “Get inside! Quick! The Despairs are coming! ???: “Yes, we must work fast in order to preserve the truth of the Future Foundation.” ???: “I’m working on it, that signal from inside seems to be working on their bracelets. Locking the doors now, get in!”

As soon as the large doors opened, they were quickly locked and closed again. If anyone got there soon enough they could have seen a girl with white hair and wearing a mask throwing senbon needles at them from the outside along with other zombie-like individuals.

Before them stood the Future Foundation!

Once the tall slender female finishes activating the touch pad you feel your bracelet pop off of your wrist! No more restraints!

Does this mean the game is almost over?

A Special Message from the Tokusatsu Fanatic

The LIVE button began to glow and Shingo could see himself on the TV screen that showed the cool background behind him. The red light began flickering on and off showing it was indeed recording live. People watching their news would possibly be getting this interrupted news feed now.

Thankfully, Shingo was all alone so he didn’t realized the thousands of eyes looking right at him. He got into position as the video on his eyepad started playing, and it played….the voice of a young girl!

“When evil dawns itself into our world, I’ll be there. Hands into fists ready to take down whatever threatens it.”

“I am the last remaining beacon between life and death, Hope and Despair, and I will fight, fight and live so that I can fight another day!”

“A! FOR THE ACTION THAT MY FIST MUST TAKE AGAINST EVIL!”

“V! FOR THE VALOUR THAT BURNS WITHIN MY BODY!”

“X! FOR THE X-TREME WILLPOWER THAT MY SOUL EXPUNGES!”

“THE CHAMPION OF JUSTICE! OBLITERATOR OF EVIL IS HERE!”

“I AM ACTION, VALOUR, X-TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEME”

Was it just a glitch in the camera or was Shingo actually giving off an aura? not like he himself could tell as he was just going pose after pose almost like this was second nature to him.

The video stops playing after that, but the camera is still focused on him.

“Uh, hi….I’m uh…I’m Shingo, Shingo Takeshi, SHSL Tokusatsu Fanatic.”

“Most of you probably know this by now, but I’m transmitting this from a Future Foundation building, a building that has been taken captive and the people in it were put in a killing game…..”

“As of now….Twelve of us…are dead either by their own faults or because of the Mastermind’s actions.”

“But…”

“But despite that, we are still fighting.”

“To survive, To get out, To prove a point…”

“I’ve lost people that were very important to me….they’ll never come back….and I can’t run away from that reality….so instead, I use that to push myself, push myself to a better tomorrow, a tomorrow where the despair is defeated, were I can look up, and see the blue sky smiling at me once again.”

Shingo looks at his scarf and sees the word Y U I etched on it

“….which is why….which is why I can’t cling to them anymore…I can’t live in fear that I’m helpless without them…”

Shingo takes off the red scarf

“If i’m going to fight despair….it will be with my own power.”

Shingo takes out the mysterious blue scarf and reveals on one end the words S H I N G O etched on them

he puts on the scarf and ties the red one around his waist like a belt

“I’ll defeat despair…..I’ll get us out of here…..and I will do it, with the power of hope….hope, and Tokusatsu” He makes a very iconic pose

Almost like magic, and convenient autoplaylist, the actual sound effects plays from the eyepad.

“So trust in me….thank you….” Shingo moves out of the camera’s view and turns off the broadcasting.

Bone Chilling Surprise

With the last floor opening up and only a few people left tensions were high. After hearing an unexpected noise, everyone began looking around to see what it could be.

It was then Decker found who had joined them.

“R-Rex Coleman!” Their surprise and anger was high as they looked at the dangerous man in front of them.

How did he get in? What was he doing there? What would happen to them?

Only time will tell.

Chapter 6 Map

Reception Area: Outside the elevator is a lobby-esque area. Several gray couches and lounge chairs are in this room, along with a large desk. On the desk is a box labeled “complaints”. There are 4 doors leading to other rooms on this floor and a long hallway leads to a large vault door with a neon sign reading “exit”! Ballroom: A wide open ballroom with marble floors. The ceiling is at least 2 stories up and a massive crystal chandelier hangs from it. Several stair cases lead up to balconies which allow people to watch dancers from up above. Halfway up one of the staircases is a control room, which has machines for light control as well as a winch for the chandelier! However the winch is password locked… Armory: A room full of countless shelves of various weapons. Firearms, ammunition, even some old fashioned medieval swords and polearms. All the weapons are locked up behind plexiglass and passwords. Data Room: A room full of server blocks and computers. The sound of clicking machinery fills your ears. There’s a small black CPU in the corner that seems very out of place… Broadcasting Room: a large green screen dominates this room, along with several cameras. There’s a closet in the corner as well. It seems the future foundation used this room to send out broadcasts!

The Fast and the Murderous

The path wasn’t easy, but eventually the truth came out. The trial came to a screeching halt when Michi confessed to everything they witnessed. There wasn’t just one murderer this round... there were TWO.

Tara captures the SHSL Drag Racer and teleports them to their final destination.

MICHI SOKUDO & JACOB ROY HAVE BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER! TIME TO COMMENCE THE EXECUTION!!!

Michi was forced into a vehicle they knew very well. Their old race car. Oh the irony of meeting their fate in the vehicle they knew and loved. “Heya buddy... looks like we’re going for a last ride.” They said sadly.

They glanced over and noticed another car with... Jacob inside? Michi gasped as they saw his dead limp body in the car strapped in. They tried to break out of their car to get to him but there was no use as they were strapped in tight and the doors were locked.

Tara could be seen raising a flag and the waving it signalling the start of the “race.” Whether or not Michi tried to control the car it didn’t matter because it had been rigged to be automatic, all they could do was speed up.

Soon enough they came to a fork in the rode, Jacob went left and Michi went right. They watched in horror as Jacob’s path began to take him towards a wall. Even if he was dead they didn’t want to see his body blown to smithereens, but that’s what they witnessed as the car crashed into the wall and blew up.

They tried to brace themself for their doom as they looked forward and saw where the path took them. A few obstacles appeared in the road which they were able to dodge until they came to the end of the road.

Even though Michi knew it was futile, they saw the other cliff and thought maybe, just maybe they could make the jump. They pressed the gas pedal hard and sped up the vehicle. The car flew off of the edge and seemed to be on course to reaching the other side, but then the engine cut out and the car lost it’s momentum as it began to crash into the other side of the cliff. Within their last moments they closed their eyes and softly said. “I’m sorry everyone...”

Additional Notes: The camera is still on his hand but smashed on the ground. Jacob’s expression is peaceful and sad. The room is a mess with papers flown everywhere like there was a struggle of some sort.

What the heck was that doll talking about?

As you begin to scan the building you look in and out of rooms. Eventually, you find yourself looking in the Mail Room and that’s when you understand what she was talking about.

You can’t believe what you’re witnessing though.

There lay the former SHSL Scenic Photographer, Jacob Roy. Only recently he had been helping answering questions about the previous murder! And to think now his body was joining the murder quota this round.

It appeared his Forbidden Action had been triggered as his limp hand held the camera, broken possibly from the impact of hitting the ground. Tons of paper and mail was scattered about on the floor, it appears there was a struggle of some sort?

How did this happen? Who could have killed him? What caused the mess in this room?

It’s time to also investigate the death of Jacob Roy.

...since the number one | Ch 5 Body Discovery

You searched all over for where a body could possibly be until you find yourself in the arcade. A location where just a few days ago you were having fun with everyone and playing games. A dark lit room with many flashing lights and electronic sounds.

As you enter the room, the sight before you catches your attention immediately.

The person who had only recently been dragged into the killing game was now propped against an arcade machine, appearing to be electrocuted. The former SHSL Knight, Aguno Kokutsume, was dead.

The smell of burnt skin and hair filled the air. It appears the body has been there for a while. His hand is firmly grasping a screwdriver that’s plunged into the arcade machine. A shooter game. But looks like Aguno wasn’t having any fun in this arcade.

So what happened? Who did this? 

Time to Investigate how Aguno Kokutsume perished.
