We lost a great one, today. Had he not suffered 2 serious knee injuries that ended his career way too early, I think we'd be calling him the greatest of all time, without question. As it is, even as short as his career was, he's still one of the greatest. Gale Sayers did things running the football that you could argue only Barry Sanders has come close to replicating. And his post football life was a success, as well.
