Further context: Durham city council (Reform UK) cut funding and support for Pride. The Durham Miner's Association and other trade unions raised enough money for Durham Pride 2026 to go ahead - a direct call back to when Lesbian and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM) raised money for mining communities when Margaret Thatcher seized union funding during the miner strikes of 1984-85.

At the 1985 Labour party meet, the motion to support LGBT rights as a party was passed due to a block vote from mining unions.

Stephen Guy, the chair of the Durham Miners’ Association, said that when it became apparent Durham Pride was under threat, he took it upon himself to “encourage the trade union movement to step up and do the right thing, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the LGBT+ community […] They not only raised funds for us, but came to our communities, uplifted our spirits when they were down, and showed their solidarity.”

Mr. Sardonicus (1961): My favorite william castle film A Bucket of Blood (1959): A great comedy/horror that focuses more on the horror over the comedy elements, though it's tongue in cheek. filmed on some of the same sets as little shop of horrors. House On Haunted Hill (1959): A great vincent price movie, good one to start with too if you haven't seen his work before. Very atmospheric The Fly (1958): One of my favorite monster science fiction horror films. Have seen all the sequels as well though this is the best. Great ending as well House of Wax (1953): Another favorite Price role Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956): A near perfect science fiction horror film of the 50s, though the changed ending to be happier makes me a bit upset. Still an amazing film The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962): Classic B movie with some surprisingly brutal effects at times near the finale Peeping Tom (1960): Amazing serial killer movie that focuses a lot on the mind of the killer. Love how it's filmed as well it's a very unique film Some more I like: Village of the Damned & Children Of The Damned Blood Freak The Curse of the Werewolf Homicidal Die! Die! I would really recommend checking out Hammer's monster movies of the 50s and 60s. Christopher Lee is in many of them and is one of my favorite horror actors :) Peter Cushing as well!

In order to be properly non-pedophilic you have to want to fuck somebody old but not with gray or white hair because that's too close to blonde which as we've established is the hair color of children. So ideally somebody old as fuck but bald. And obviously wanting to have sex with a man is misogynistic so it has to be a woman. And it can't be a white woman because that would be racist and it can't be a woman of color because that would be fetishistic, so ideally a woman with some unnatural skin color, oh let's say, purple. But it can't be an alien, because we don't know anything about alien life cycles so it could be an alien child or an alien that looks like a child. So it has to be an animal from Earth, but obviously one of human level intelligence that can communicate is otherwise that would be bestiality. So an old purple female animal that can speak English. I think the only creature you can be hot for is the Ant Queen from A Bug's Life.
