Headcanon: celestial bodies have super-vision. If they stare out into the distance long enough, they can see exactly what's going down out there (which is how the rogue planets and planet X kept tabs on the solar system). Also, celestials can see every single star and all the nebulas in outer space, while earthlings can only see star's thanks to Earth's atmosphere refracting the light.

They can also spot tiny creatures like Astrodude, who are literally billions of times smaller than them. However, staring at microscopic things for too long can totally ruin their super-vision, or just cause major eye strain because their eyesight is so sharp. That’s why Jupiter wears glasses when reading, and Neptune-whose moons are mostly tiny too-might wear glasses just to give his eyes a break.

But you’ll probably ask: why doesn’t Saturn wear glasses if he has a ton of tiny moons then? Guys, he lost them lol.

It’s also possible that Sun sees way better than the planets, and black holes see way better than any of the stars.

I've had my Borderlands AU for a while now, and I've been working on a lot of things dedicated to it.

It's a passion project of mine that combines everything I love and crave in media: an old-fashioned cartoon look, 2D animation, Atlantis- and Sinbad-inspired visuals and storytelling, and characters and dynamics that I personally enjoy. My dream is to create an actual cartoon one day, but for now, that's too much work for one person xD

I started learning animation because I wanted to bring Vaughn, Hedwig and my other characters to life, and I'm slowly getting there 🐸 I haven't posted everything here, and there's a lot more on my Patreon, take a look if you're interested.

I’ve also spent most of this summer struggling with my health after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, which is why I haven't posted in a while. I'm slowly getting better now, though. Working on this project gives me life and helps take my mind off things 💀💅

P.S. The three-eyed mutant frog is supposed to search the ground for truffles and other edible things, like chicken-flavored larvae, lol. That was my idea.

Like, They gave Jim a Glamour mask or something to pretend to be a changeling and spy on Stickler because they don't trust him

Hi anon I think thats brilliant and a really fun idea.

So Im thinking the amulet goes to Steve in this au. Which will be interesting because hes also a changeling here

1. Jim was first given the glamour mask by his mother and uncle when they realize Strickler is starting to give his own orders to young changelings and that the young changelings won't give up their orders. Strickler at this point has no idea that Barbara is Adrabar, Bular is Brutus and that Jim is Gunmars grandson. He doesn't even know that Adrabar has a whelp

2. When Steve gets the amulet he panics. He doesn't tell anyone. And when Jim notices and starts acting on it Steve panics because why is the new changeling he never knew about suddenly so interested in him

3. Blinky and Aaarrrgghh find out pretty quickly that Steve is a changeling like within minutes of them showing up to tell their human trollhunter the good news. They aren't happy about it but with the way Steve breaks down and confesses to being confused and conflicted they are willing to take the boy in

4. Jim keeps his mom and uncle upto date on all of Stricklers plans and what he's learning about Steve. He was surprised to find out the other boy was also part troll but he also found it amusing

5. Strickler is really suspicious of 'Changeling' Jim. Its not like him to forget placements and besides the Lakes were a flight risk family for a while. It seems to him that something is off but he doesn't want to be caught questioning Adrabar or Bular

I've already seen the headcanons about Strickler being raised by the stalkings in the Darklands. So I decided to draw on this topic as well.

Strickler is obviously a hybrid of a troll and a stalking. Therefore, the ordinary stalkings accepted him as one of their own. Strickler took advantage of this and pretended to be one of their children (he hadn't even been given his familiar yet, but he was already pretending to be someone else's child).
