I attempted to do this with different colours from different inks, but I need more practice.
Midway the Magnificent for Molly; Cabernet on the Lake for Lucien.
Works with the medium nib but not the wider ones.

My grandchild, probably: “Because the M9 Reunion ending killed my Grandma, okay?!”
Love that in theory Caleb could end up with a harem of hot morally dubious Wizards, and Kingsley.
Like, there’s Astrid and Eodwulf who are his (maybe) exes that he sees often enough for Astrid to be pushing him into teaching, Essek who is his current boyfriend, Yussa who is at least his Magic Sugar Daddy (may also be involved with Essek? They both use Caleb’s full name conversationally which may just be an elf thing), Veth who he is (basically) coparenting Luc with, and Kingsley who is purple and pretty and also morally dubious but more stabby.
essek: caleb did you fight a demigod. caleb answer me did you fight the fucking ocean.
caleb, tenderly cradling his face: you’re so hot.
Waiting with fingers crossed hoping we either see Essek in the M9 reunion pt2 or we get some Widoking flirting or some shadowidoking action or all of the above. I just wanna see some Caleb lovin TvT
Oh man, it was so good to see them all again!! I'm going to have to rewatch at some point, but Caleb is definitely in a weird, emotional in-between place.
Like, you're in your early 30s, all of your friends have careers, and Significant Others, and even families, and there’s just you. Who had a traumatic childhood that delayed your start on adulthood and maybe means you're "behind the curve." The only time you've ever lived on your own you were starving on the streets, homeless and penniless and sunk so deep into a depression you didn't feel human. Now you have a house, and a Tower, all your own, but it is so. Empty. Your friends visit, and you're just a Sending or a Teleport away, but . . . They have their own lives. And that depression maybe starts to sink back in. And you finally have some closure on the biggest quest of your life since it became your own, but all that means is you're kind of directionless. What now? What next? What if I choose wrong?
And yes, on top of that you're falling more and more in love with your Kryn Friend who visits you, but always on his terms. And that's okay, he has his own problems and his own priorities, and you can't imagine you would be worth more risk than he is already taking. You have the life you deserve . . . The life you earned . . . So why does it not feel like enough?
Will throwing Orym back to life: “And bring that hot genasi when you come back!”
The fact that Caleb Widogast is stranded in the middle of the Astral Sea with Lucien does not excuse the fact that he is indulging this fascination he's always had with the man - in fact, it only makes this game they're playing all the more dangerous.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
“Dear diary,” Lucien says. “Today, the wizard brought me breakfast. I think he’s planning to kill me.”
Caleb snorts. “Not today, Lucien,” he says. “For now, I am afraid I have had to put my previous designs on your life on hold.”
“Murder canceled due to extenuating circumstances?”
“I apologize for any inconvenience.”
Wizards are a disparate group of people with a variety of different motivations for seeking training in the arcane arts - but there is a single unifying characteristic. That characteristic is an often-fatal degree of curiosity.
Caleb knows he's playing with fire - but at this point, that's practically his whole thing, isn't it?

Okay that was a shit show. To extend some hope back into the community, there still is a chance of everything being okay.
First off, FCG has Revivify. Sam said it himself that he was waiting to cast the spell until they were out of harm’s way. He has it. FCG also has 3 diamonds of the right price. That is not a issue. The bad news is that there is two dead party members and one spell slot.
The good news? Fearne is a level six Wildfire Druid. (We know this because of her new Enhanced Bond ability.) This means that she not only has Revivify spell but always has it prepared. Being a sixth level Druid also means that she has 10 spell slots available: 4 First, 3 Second & 3 Third.
I counted it up, and Fearne has used 4 spells since the previous long rest.
Those spells are Heat Metal, Detect Magic, Hold Person & Cure Wounds. Let’s go over each
Heat Metal is a second level spell and was casted at second level. We know this because 1: Ashley never said she was casting at a higher level and 2: when she casts the spell, Ashley can be seen only picking up two d8. If it was casted at third, she would have picked up 3.
Detect Magic. Unless you don’t have any first spell slots, there is absolutely no reason to cast this spell at any other level besides 1. Fearne has spell slots.
Hold Person. Ashley stated that she was casting at the spell at third level. Very straightforward
Cure Wounds. They are not subtitles for what Ashley says but if you listen closely, you can hear her say that say that she is casting the spell at second level. (It’s at 3:18:45 if anyone wants to double check)
So in total. Fearne has 3 first level slots left, 1 second level and 2 third. Fearne can cast it
If FCG gets to Fearne and gets her up, she can get to Orym. They have a chance of being okay
They have to be okay.
Let’s hope. See y’all next week
I am going to leave you all tonight with this.
Above all else, I trust Matthew Mercer as a Storyteller, and this is by no means the end of the Story.

Okay, but the Nein stumbling across what used to be a rival carnival that included games of skill and chance while on the road. Mollymauk and Yasha recognizing some old friends and goading Beau and Fjord into games and shows and participating.
Mollymauk steers Caleb away from the worst of the grifters, but the wizards goes to them anyway. They’ve had a few jobs and he’s just restocked his supplies; they have some gold to spare.
It takes a few moments to realize that Caleb was intentionally losing on some of the games or at some of the stalls being run by the younger members of the troupe. He’s not obvious about it, and it’s genuinely rewarding some of the more conniving behaviour as the younger performers draw in crowds and build on the ‘close calls’ with Caleb until there’s some healthy attendance at each stall or moving through the space before real shows start.
And Mollymauk just smiles with a “I know what you’re doing, magic man.”
Caleb just smiles and slips a silver to the kid dressed in bright carnival colours he catches trying to pick his pocket while Nott wanders past and adds a couple of gold to the kid’s pocket. “I don’t know what you mean.”
For the night, further pickpockets were warded off of Caleb by Molly throwing an arm across his shoulders and wrapping his tail around the mage’s waist. Somewhere around the games, they can hear Fjord swearing that he can win the game of skill this time– best six out of nine.

broke: essek and caleb break up when caleb gets too old for them to have a romantic relationship
woke: there is no age essek isn't extremely into caleb and while some physical aspects of the relationship might fade away, the love and devotion stay the same
bespoke: despite essek's protests, caleb uses his transmuters stone with restore youth a few times to make himself physically younger; not because he's vain or scared essek won't love him anymore, but because he intends to blow that elf's back out as long and as thorough as he can and his 60+ year old knees do not help. the first time a physically 40 year old caleb with the knowledge of 56 year old caleb manhandles essek onto the kitchen table to make out with him, essek has to admit the idea might not be that bad after all
