I was diagnosed with OCD and depression, and that was a huge relief, because now my struggles had a name and could be reckoned with. With a combination of therapy and medication, I got better. I learned to love my life again. My problems didn’t go away, but they became much easier to face.

I’m certainly disappointed in the fashion industry. Obviously, they’ve made great strides, but to me, it’s not good enough to see maybe one plus-size model for every 100 ‘normal’ sized models. If you’re going to talk about how all bodies are beautiful, then prove it. Diversity is important and representation is important.
