FIVE HARGREEVES in season 2 of The Umbrella Academy

I just noticed that their seating arrangements are the same!! From left to right: One, Two, Five, Seven, Six, Four, Three. The only exception is Christopher, who doesn't sit at the end of the table like Viktor used to.

Something, something, the Sparrows still sit in their 1,2,5,7,6,4,3 order like Reginald used to make them, but Luther just picks a random chair and sits down in it.

One Small Thing I Noticed in the Trailer

I was looking at this shot from the trailer, and I noticed Luther's vest says "Fred"!

Do we think he stole the vest? Or is he going by Fred now?

Overthinking the subway scenes in the trailer

Who's ready for some Umbrella Academy speculation??

I want to talk about the subway.

It's interesting that the only two people that we see in this station are Five and Lila. Also of note: We see Five jump into this station. This gives the impression that it's only accessible perhaps through said jumps.

One counter is this part in the trailer where it seems Five and Lila are emerging from a what appears to be a train station exit. This suggests that there is perhaps an exit and entrance. But I wonder if it's still connected to their powers somehow?

Also of note: There's no verbiage on that station exit. All we see is symbols that look suspiciously alien. Maybe that's how things are in this timeline, but maybe it means something more?

This station seems to be connected to the timelines in some way. (That "map" Lila is looking at seems unlike a traditional map, and more like the machine Reginald was working with at the end of s3.) This, and the station exit, makes me wonder if this station is maybe connected to multiple timelines? Perhaps this isn't the final timeline after all?

Also of note: In the scene of Lila crying, she's dressed differently. This suggests the rest of the scenes are close to each other, but this one is at a different moment. Perhaps what they discover here isn't so pleasant? Or, maybe, she's hoping this station holds the key to undoing whatever is making her cry?

Just some thoughts brewing in my brain. My opinion is subject to change and I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Some ideas about the new teaser and its connection to previous s4 posters

This slide relates to the emoji used for Viktor in his individual poster (🍺). Viktor works in a bar this season??

The first poster for s4 included the text "YEAR UNKNOWN: Ben Released." I think this is Ben being released.

That same poster said "YEAR UNKNOWN: Diego Back in Action." I'm gonna assume it's this scene in the car, since he's so excited. (Though maybe he had been working as a lone wolf before.)

What do you think? Any other connections you noticed?

i love how every season klaus gets another level up to his powers that’s just. leagues above everyone else.

like in the first season viktor discovers he has them and grows accustomed to them, they tease diego redirecting bullets a little bit, five makes tiny disastrous steps towards controlled time travel, and allison gets an upgrade from harlan.

meanwhile klaus is like

season 1 — can now physically manifest ben!

season 2 — can manifest multiple ghosts and also get possessed by ben!

season 3 — KLAUS IS IMMORTAL. HE HAS DOMINION OVER THE AFTERLIFE. HE CAN BANISH GHOSTS. HE CAN RESURRECT HIMSELF INTO A POCKET DIMENSION HE’S NEVER VISITED EVEN AFTER HIS BODY WAS DESTROYED.

My interpretation of the emojis presented with the new Umbrella Academy posters:

🍺 - Viktor is a drunk. The teaser poster said "Viktor taken" - yeah, to REHAB

🕺- Luther is on the move (much like dancing). This is also why the teaser poster says "Luther returns home"

📦 - Diego is in hiding (like a cat in a box) / Diego is moving in somewhere

🍼 - Lila had the baby!!

👩‍👧 - Allison is with Claire

🧽 - Klaus is a germaphobe (Also why he's got gloves and mask in teaser pic), probably due to fear of death now

🔒- Ben is locked up (and later released, according to teaser poster)

🕵️‍♂️ - Five is being a private investigator like in the comics!!! (Or he's simply investigating something)

🧠 - idk Reginald is Big Brained
