How did you go about paying for it?
To be honest, since I was paying for school with student loans, I just took out some more loans(they had to be private, of course). I did, however, apply for a scholarship that my school offered for study abroad programs, and got a couple of thousand dollars toward my trip because of that. For expenses like food, spending money, etc., I used my loan refund money (you apply for the amount of the trip plus money for food/books etc. The balance of whatever isn't applied to the trip fee is then put into your bank account. The loan advisers can explain better than I can...) and money that I had saved from my part-time job. It's not cheap, and unless your parents are willing/able to pay the extra money, most people take out loans. I personally think it's worth it, but it really depends on your financial situation! xx
