We live in a society, that is very close minded, and as a result many ill-perceived opinions of one another spreads like wildfire resulting in a growth in hatred, misery, and violence.While the world constantly changes, and life flashes by our eyes, we keep quiet about the many life changing moments we have encountered. As we subdue our opinions and experiences, for the sake of tranquility, we fail to advocate for the people who helped us in our darkest and brightest moments.Through the Understand Me Blog, I want people to communicate their messages for hope and give people an inside look at their journeys and thoughts in an effort to guide the next generations that will have to deal with similar problems. With a pen and paper, this blog will serve to give people of all ages, color, or genders a platform and opportunity to express themselves, allowing true unity to begin.I hope that everyone reading can transform their own personal lives and find ways to use their reborn self to help others in need.

There is a large misconception on the discussion of police budget allocation. While one side yells for the abolishment of police, another yells for a more progressive manner of prosperity through defunding. It’s fairly simple - More money to the people that need it can help foster growth and help communities provide more opportunities.
