College
The place full of heartbreak because of broken psyches, empty wallets, and destroyed bank accounts, and it's only the end of my first year. Holy shit maybe I should stay away. Though there are bad parts every situation has an upside. Such as the fact that I know I pretty much gave buff state everything that I had financially and mentally. This experience wether I come back or not I feel a sense of accomplishment after all this. I just hope I can keep this train going and next year do even better and make even better ground. If I can outdo myself next year then it counts as a success
Cwp 101
Not gonna lie when I first saw you Mary Beth I thought you'd be a giant pain in the ass in all honesty. I thought your class would be the biggest strain on my mind. Then on the first day you gave an example of your sense of humor, which is the one thing none of my other professors did. It was also nerve-racking being in a class where I didn't know anybody. It make me uncomfortable being around new people and when I arrived to class I didn't really have much choice to where I would be sitting seeing as how I showed up only a few minutes before class started. So I picked my seat and to this day I'm happy with my group choice. With everything, this class was honestly my favorite class. From the death match to the movie test. Even the constant debates between classmates. It was honestly awesome. I have no regrets from taking this class I'm just pissed I can't be in your 102 class
Finals week
The biggest pain in the ass I've ever encountered. From sleep loss to stress headaches, I truly despise this week. From the stress it puts on students. To the fact that if you do poorly you could be out of college when it's over. It's too much. It makes me wonder if I should even be in college at all. The constant studying the sleepless nights and the headaches are too much for some people
Now we all know that college is said to be the best and worst four years of a young adults life. These are the years where you experience a world wind of roller coaster and obstacles that temp and test your limits.This journey is not just emotionally draining but physically. At times it may seem like you are at the end of your wits and you can not take anymore. Like you just want to scream at the top of your lungs and cry at the same time. But within in college you also harvest and create unbreakable and unforgettable bonds. These memories and moments is what will help you make it through the tough time. The laughs you share among your friends and the endless parties that happen every weekend. Just don’t forget your main objective of why you came to college. Whether its was to better and educate yourself for personally reason or if you are doing it for your family member. Just make sure you give it your all. Nothing feels better then getting an 3.5 or high in any class and feeling like you accomplished something. So just remember it is okay if you need to skip a party or three in order to get your gain focus on what is importance and regain some type of motivation that you lost. Just keep in mind that there are many parties that will be taking place that school year. So you missing a couple is not that big of a deal because these parties is not helping you pass. I am not trying to say you can not have fun but you have you know how to balance it out.
First off I gotta say, cute profile picture. That gets 2 thumbs up. Secondly I gotta say you are way more conditioned for college than me. Before I came here I honesty believed I was gonna be great. I was gonna do my best and my best would put me close to the top. By the end of the first semester college shit on those aspirations. I fell like a draft day bust. It was horrible, and to make it worse I became an insomniac. Not because I spent 24 hours studying, but because the stress just made it so my brain couldn't shut down. I felt like complete crap in class, at home, and when I was with my friends. The weird thing is I hate parties though. So I guess I didn't have to worry about that distraction on my mind. If that makes a nerd I guess I can accept that. Now that I have gotten all my work out of the way I can go back to my regularly scheduled programming. I'll see you in class tomorrow
Elevators!!
After last night I started to resent elevators even more. I had my suspicions before about these Porter elevators but yesterday was really weird. All of my suspicions started because of movie night on the sixth floor with a couple of friends. I was bored in my room so I went to the sixth floor and saw my friends watching a movie. They were watching the newest transformers around about 1am so that was going fine the elevators were working perfectly fine. So we were not tired at all so we decided we wanted to watch another movie and we wanted a suspenseful and scary movie to watch to cap off the night. My friends went to there room and they told me to choose a movie to watch but me being scared of scary movies did not know what to choose so I told one of my friends from my floor that came up with me to choose one. He chose a movie called insidious. My friends that went to their rooms came back and we told them our choice, they disagreed so we were sitting for about five to eight minutes just throwing scary movie suggestions out in the open and someone named a movie called “Devil”. I was not stressing the movie but they told me I will not want to take an elevator for the rest of the semester. I am like “stop playing” and the ones who saw it was like they serious. I agreed to watching it and the events that happened in that elevator was so fudging weird, it really creeped me out. There were five people in a elevator. The elevator stopped. The elevator technician said there was no real problem with the elevator so the security guards and everyone else’s were confused. While in the elevator the people that were in there experienced a a black out and then one guy out of the five people died. Everyone in the elevator started to become suspicious of each other. Then another black out happened and an elderly lady died, it was all a chain reaction until the last two people were left which was a guy and a female. Now the female was left fighting for her life and the elderly lady came back alive with these devilish all black eyes and was telling the guy why he was going to die and why everyone else died. The people on the elevator all had dark secrets that they did not admit to so that’s why the devil took them, but the remaining guy admitted to his sins. He killed a mother and a child years before this event and the officer that was on the scene / arresting officer was put on that case by the devil for a reason. Because it was his wife and child that the man killed when he was drunk. Now right when we started this movie, coincidentally one of the elevators started to act up. It started to go to each floor and stop with no one in it. So when we finished the movie, coincidentally the elevator stopped on the floor so we wanted to go into the elevator and then the elevator was not closing but when the elevator force closed and two of my friends pushed me out and we left three females in the elevator. The were mad how we left them but I really was forcibly pushed out and it was just a funny experience.
Oh man I feel so bad for you man. I bet the elevator ride was on 3 seconds, but it felt like 3 hours. I felt the same way when I originally saw the movie in theaters. I literally tools stairs everywhere until I sprained my ankle and my school nurse made me take the elevator. I told her I could take the stairs, but she was intent on making me use the elevator. Like our brains always do it makes us think of the worst possible situation which was that goddamn movie. I'm just happy I was in the elevator by myself so I didn't have to worry about anything sneaking up on me. If you ask me I really think it's a good think you didn't watch insidious because if you did you just would have been afraid just to walk to your room. So I gotta say you got off easy. But I have one question why didn't you jut take the stairs man
Project 3. Ignorance.
For my third project I have been thinking about a word to showcase that really brings out the feelings I have tord society and it’s look on human rights. And when I say human rights I mean every person sould be given the chance to live there lives without fear of percicution regardless of race, gender, or sexuality. I will admit that when I was younger I thought that everything should be one way and I didn’t understand why people wanted change so bad because I couldn’t see how broken the system actually was and is. That leads to the word I have chosen “ignorance” I believe that people are hateful just for the sake being mean but there just can not fully comprehend the fullness of there actions because of either they are too self-conscious and self-centered to see the consiquenses of there actions or they are too privileged to learn other people’s struggles so they mock because the don’t understand. And the simplest thing to do is to just ask questions and get a better understanding of the things that people are going through. Like I always say “replace ignorance with intelligence”
Wow I gotta say this was a very uhhh interesting speech. I whole heartedly agree with you with everything you said. I also respect the fact that you had the guts to say that when you were younger you saw the world a different way. A way some people wouldn't have agreed with. I have an opinion on why you may have thought that way when you were younger. I think it was because you may not have seen the people who weren't given their full rights. Some people are afraid of how people will react that's why they don't come out. They are frightened by reactions of people that are close to them and society's reaction. So they keep their true selves hidden. I think this is a great post and really respect that you were honest about your past beliefs

Being famous is a word I truly do not understand. The definition is being know by many people. Then when you're famous people look up to but some people are famous for no reason. Now I'm not trashing on the kardashians, but they are famous for no reason. The thing is they accept the fact that they're talentless. The thing is I respect that. They have made a vast amount of money. Kim k literally makes 50 times more than the president. More people watch their show than vote. Is there is a magic key to get in the famous club please let me know. Oh by the way Mary Beth this is second post the first was about mortal Kombat and I play on doing my project on the word famous

So as I recall from a previous assignment I blogged a piece call "a few more days". Well get what Muthafuckas those days came and gone. It was about a week ago(feel free to hit the shmoney real quick) and I was at a midnight release, and I remember saying it's only 9 why am I here so early? For the tournament duh. I got to play mortal Kombat x a few hours early and I got to play with some really awesome people. I also found out I'm pretty good at the game. I ended up coming in 2nd which caught me off guard because I never won a single match in the last mortal Kombat, what changed? I have no idea but I know my record online right now is (and don't laugh at my addiction) 293w-111L. I mean I'm not on any leaderboards but I feel like I've done a good i job with my record plus I've actually taken time for myself and had a little fun. So good for me
Suplex city bitch
On March 30 their was an event that occurred. It was the opening of a new city by the name of suplex. Before it was simply a small settlement, and the only inhabitant was John cena. Now it has developed into a full blown city and now roman reigns resides there. Not only that but he was personally escorted by one Brock lesnar. It was a joy to watch it was wonderful, splendid, and amazing. It was SUPLEX CITY BITCH
Real friends
I have a saying about real friends. Reals friends are the ones that you can drop kick them and then high five afterwards. When you go to their house your phone just automatically connects to the wifi. You guys fight over video games and eat all the others food up. Those are real friends. Hell yeah
Just a few more days
I remember when it happened....I was a senior in high school and I was in a computer doing..stuff (don't worry about it) and I saw a video that made me smile to the full extent of my face. I saw the muthafuckin trailer for Mortal Kombat X and guess what nerds, it comes at on Tuesday and guess who's going to the midnight release. THIS GUY RIGHT HERE. I have waited literally years to play a new mortal Kombat and kick ass with the Jean Claude Van Damm inspired character Johnny Cage, and his signature nut punch. The move that I use a lot on my opponents cuz it's so damn hilarious. A fighting game full of martial artist and one guy just has to punch someone in the nuts. Simply put my kinda charger

While we were at the gallery I saw a specific piece that made me think and even sparked a mini debate between me and another classmate. It was the piece that had either a obese woman or an obese man I honestly couldn't tell, and neither could my classmate. We exchanged viewpoints on the subject and then realized that maybe the point of the piece was to question sexuality and push the limit on what we images a person should look like. And the more I questioned the more I began to realize that it didn't matter if it was a man or a female and that was the point. To make us escape the world we live in that makes it seem like you need to have an hourglass figure. To me that was honestly my favorite piece. It made me think the most and it was the only piece I couldn't get a definite answer on which makes me even more curious.
This was one of the more blood boiling things I’ve seen recently. This guy was enjoying himself and having a good time dancing and a few kid started to making fun of him and he stopped dancing. Now as the internet does, this went viral with the kids who made fun of the guy getting slandered, and this man’s getting so much support and love from many different people. Now my gut reaction was the typical “These kids are fucking cruel” and I truly believe that still, but there is a big contradiction to my beliefs. I believe that there is nothing sacred in comedy. Comedy should not be something we should have to filter. When things are said that could be offensive but not truly meant to be offensive, but to just inspire joy in others, then that’s fine. So why is this different? I feel there is a difference between cruelty and jokes, the problem is how do we determine the difference. I feel as if we see we hit a sensitive spot for someone, we stop. As for the offended, understand that the offender did not mean to hurt you. This becomes a problem with people you don’t know as well but hey, nothings perfect. I’m glad everything is working out for this guy now tho and he’s getting tons of support. I hope those kids fall in holes with scorpions in them… but really, I hope they learned not to be a shit to people.
Allow me first to say I agree with you partially I believe if the kids would have done it they should have had their laugh out of that man's view. That way they could have the joking session and the man could continue his fun as well. I believe comedy is a thing that shouldn't be filtered either I believe if art can be whatever I wants so should comedy. I'm gonna throw you an example Tracy Morgan made a joke about gay people and he literally almost lost his job and I'm I offend someone I'm sorry but like DL Hughley " you can take a dick, but a joke is out of the question" let comedy be free because if you're not gonna laugh at it trust me someone else will
