There are so many things that could be shared about ORV but this one sentence, it sums up all i felt when i completed the story. Plus it's what kept me sane while finishing it up. :')
There was never a trade of prisons, it was always about breaking out.
“Is it possible that the relationship between humanity and evil is similar to the relationship between the ocean and an iceberg floating on its surface? Both the ocean and the iceberg are made of the same material. That the iceberg seems separate is only because it is in a different form. In reality, it is but a part of the vast ocean.…
It was impossible to expect a moral awakening from humankind itself, just like it was impossible to expect humans to lift off the earth by pulling up on their own hair. To achieve moral awakening required a force outside the human race.”

This movie held a lot of emotions in such an ambiguous manner that I was stuck crying on so many scenes. I just couldn't take off my eyes from the scene playing before me. It could be because of two reason mainly. 1) The rawness and vulnerability of French cinema, and its blatant showcasing of character's feelings and emotions, and 2) it had that intrinsic value to just move the person watching it. The movie and characters present themselves before you, raw, and it's now up to you how you see them. And one more thing about this movie, it was bizarre on some levels in showing the love, the romance, the friendship, and the relationships. It was bizarre and loved it for that. In the end, it left me hanging on the oceans of my own tears.
"I'm ticklish!"

"Despite all that, I want to take the risks; it'd be worth it."
