Prom is definitely a fun one. I've liked some themes way more than others but I usually have a good night. A favorite of mine... Probably the fall carnival?? There's just something about it that's so fun. Plus it was one of the first big things I got to do when I first moved here, so it holds a special place in my heart.

Yeah!!! I mean, it doesn't have to be a whole club if you don't want to or anything or you only like the idea of this one, but I like sharing books when I can. Or borrowing books. I find most of my favorite books from my friends who like something because its fun to read the stuff they like.

I've heard of Baldur's Gate but I've never tried to play it. It seems interesting though! I think you can make your own character? Did you have a favorite character for the romance?

Dream Daddy sounds fun! I looked up the art and it does look really cute. I'm not very good at drawing people like that, but it made me want to try and draw it and see if I could figure it out.

I like listening to you talk! Or I guess reading what you write. Learning from you. You get what I mean.

I talked a lot about books and you talked about games so it feels like a pretty good trade so far to me! But I do like to draw as well. Really anything I can do with my hands is really satisfying.

I know working out isn't the same as sports, but you might like Check Please! It's a very cool graphic novel series, but I think it might have been a web series first? Anyway its all about hockey and it has romance too and it was really fun.

Its p interesting! and yeah you can, i love a game with good character customization. you can either try n make yourself so you look cool and badass in the game and stuff or you can just like come up with an oc and be whoever you want.

im not much of an artist haha i can maybe doodle a stickfigure if i try real hard so most artstyles impress me hahaha. i bet you could figure it out if you're the artistic type. I believe in you pretzel!

Oh really? I'll have to try that! I do...basically no cooking and just live on snacks and leftovers from other people so I don't usually look at the food that requires cooking. But I can maybe manage that.

Graphic novels are great!!!! I think they're really underrated and there's all kind of stories that people tell because its all about the writing and the art working together to tell the story. I know I can't let you borrow my copy until after this is done, but if you do want to try it maybe I can lend it to you afterward.

Oh, yeah, they were doing model rockets but its because they were inspired by the rockets going into space.

Okay I haven't done that much but I did do some mining. I like how square everything is, its very satisfying to look at. Weird but satisfying.

I get that. Love can be fun and scary and all kinds of other things. It's why I read books with a lot of love in them sometime. The games are probably even more of that feeling. Do you have a favorite one?

Hiii,

It does make sense. I think I've been... testing out filling out the form in a way that I think is right for me but it's hard to say just writing and not knowing people. But I guess it's the added benefit of being anonymous. So that even if it does seem to work there's no....pressure either.

You seem pretty genuine in these letters so far. I know that's different than seeing someone in person, but I think you seem really sweet. I have a few friends who have bigger personalities, but that to me also doesn't make them a lot, it just makes them who they are. And I personally am grateful for those energies, because I'm often... I don't know. I won't say I'm an introvert, but I do sometimes find it easier to let those strong personalities shine. It also helps me to shine along with them I think.

There are a lot of things about myself I haven't felt like I could share in person or with a lot of people either. I'm the kind of person who tries to make things easier for the people around them, and if that means maybe not saying this or that thing then that's okay. Of course, I think my emotions might be too noticeable on my face anyway, but I try.

Something that I would want people to know about me is that I am tougher than I might appear to look. And that they can trust me with important things. I want them to know I can be counted on.

And thanks lol. i try to be genuine but sometimes its hard when there's like, outside pressures to be a certain way or something you know? It's kind of nice to hear you say that (or read you write that lol?) bc I can def be what a lot of people would call a big personality. And i've got some introverted friends who i feel like i make uncomfortable or am just too much for them, but hearing that sometimes its nice so that the attention stays off the introverts makes it feel less like i'm being super annoying and obnoxious and more like i'm just taking the heat lol

I... definitely do a lot of that too. I like to make people happy and to see them smile and like...idk nobody wants a sad clown at their birthday party right? they want the silly fun one to boost their mood. I don't mind not putting my problems on others, i prefer to keep them to myself bc i don't wanna bother people but... its nice to be able to get a lot of it off my chest.

Haha I feel like I should say sorry for making you so hungry? Although all of those sound like great snacks! I don't think I've ever had a pizza bagel, but now I want to try one because that sounds super delicious.

I just read this really pretty graphic novel called The Magic Fish which is about this boy who is an immigrant and using fairy tales to figure out being gay and also connecting with his mother now that they're in a new place. the art in it is super gorgeous but also the story was amazing. I recommend it!

If you like more written stuff, I just read this old book called Rocket Boys which is all about a group of friends working together to build rockets in their home and learning and getting better. Apparently there's a movie called October Sky too so I want to try and watch that.

Minecraft sounds like it'd be perfect for me! I'm downloading it now so I can try and check it out.

I suppose since I don't know anything, I'd be okay trying anything. Except maybe horror games. I don't do very well with jump scares. Do you have a genre you like?

yeah! Like, I get why a lot of people don't like to do movies as a first date cus you can't talk in them but its the talking AFTER that makes them all worth it. you get to talk about what you liked and didn't like about the movie and maybe it leads into other things you like or other movies you like. Its fun! and, as we've already established, i love a good snack. Movie prices might be too high but the snacking is part of the experience.

Love seeing movies, I'm a big fan of movies.

I've played a lot of games like minecraft and fortnite and fnaf, but also all the nintendo stuff like mario kart, smash bros, mario party. At an arcade if they've got guitar hero oh man i'll be spending my tokens on that, but any sort of game there is fun.

Same! Some of the people I know think I shouldn't, but nothing is as filling or easy as different snack foods. Do you have a favorite? Or maybe a top 3 if that's easier?

I agree! It's part of why I'm so happy the Cinema here in town is playing new movies and not just old movies. The old movies were cool, but I like getting to see the new movies without having to go so far, get lots of good snacks, and then talk about the movies after with my friends. I haven't been yet in January, but I had a lot of fun going to the holiday movies in December that were there.

Those sound like great games! Most of the time I do a lot of stuff like reading or working on puzzles or painting, things like that. I try to go workout when I can, but I'm not very good at it so I do that one slower.

What game should I try if I'm new at it? My laptop is okay for games.

There’s also this one game called balatro it’s like poker but you’re basically fighting lmao. It’s cool it’s hard to explain tho but easy to get sucked into lmao
