Hello Rotomblr! My name is Damara. If you knew me as “The Handmaid”, do not refer to me thus anymore. If you knew me as “The Woman In Rust”, referring to me that way is fine, as that title does not hurt me. I once spent my life enslaved to a time-bending villain, with no hope of escape, but due to impossible things happening rapidly, I am free. I intend to live as I see fit, with no duties I do not wish. Though I have found friends and companions in the Nebula Incursionists, as well as in my Pokemon below:

Facts about Damara (as far as this blog is concerned):
Damara is part of the Nebula Incursionists (see @nebula-incursionists-official )
Damara is a faller so she still has much to learn about the pokemon world
Damara has a wide variety of traumas obtained from being Doc Scratch’s slave her whole life. She has not unpacked most of these, so feel free to torment her with things that might make her
This is Post-Scratch Alternian Damara from a very different timeline to the main comic, so there won’t be the excessive, *ahem*, strange remarks her Beforus counterpart is known for (in fact,I’d rather there not be any of that as I don’t enjoy it). She isn’t around people she hates, so she doesn’t feel a need to be defensive
Damara won’t be doing the Google Translate Japanese her canon Beforus version does either, so no need to worry about that (and this is a different Damara anyway)
Damara will not under any circumstances use strong language due to personal reasons (nor will I due to past trauma). She is ok with people swearing around her however.
Damara and Branch had made it through the Gym, but a new problem surfaced: only one of them could fight the Gym Leader at a time

The battle begun, and Viola opened with her Surskit as Damara opened with Glance, disguised as Flightrisk. Surskit went first, striking with Quick Attack, but it was not effective. Glance dropped the ruse and struck with Bitter Malice. But the Surskit was still up, and used Water Sport, then Glance fainted the Surskit with a Swift.
Then Viola sent out Vivillion, and Damara sent out Stiletto. Stiletto acted first with Poison Jab, but Viola used a Potion. Stiletto used Poison Jab again, but this time, Vivillion used Infestation, since Viola didn't have a Potion. Stiletto got hurt from Infestation, but hit with Poison Jab again to win the fight.

Take the stairs that you find beyond it, and you'll be back up to the entrance faster than a flash!”

Damara and Branch run up to the Santalune Gym, going inside. Once there, they see an empty room aside from a pole and a man.

"What’s the hustle, little crustle? Welcome to Santalune Gym! No I'm not the Gym Leader. You'll find her in a room down that pole."

Damara takes off down a pathway, with Branch close behind. They run through the web, dislodging water droplets as they go. They make it to the Leader, who’s on a wooden balcony with a tent on top. The tent is filled with photography equipment.
Branch's new roller skates take her to the gate of Kalos's Victory Road. Only then is she stopped

Also Lavender's Houndoom (forgot the name but he was from you) seemed to like keeping my hot chocolate and Lavender's toast warm
