if primehood met Now as their current characterizations then they would probably be great friends. if they met during the late 2000s then prime would be laying awake at night in Tears wishing that jason was born a girl

this is mostly bc of prime's wants. at this point in his arc he wants, desperately, to be loved unconditionally by everyone, and he also wants to be an equal. he wants to fit in. but he can't. if he met jason todd at this point, and jason is 1. understanding/empathetic to his rage and 2. nice to him and 3. doesnt get angry when he kills people who suck then prime would be so exceedingly In Love

or at the very least he'd feel extremely strongly towards jason to the point that he'd be thinking about marrying him so he cant leave but that cant happen bc theyre both BOYS (i like giving prime heteronormative issues bc hes a loser comic book nerd from kansas whose One Girlfriend was his female best friend. if the dude is bisexual he is not going to realize)

and i think jason WOULD be nice to him because jason would feel sympathetic if a bit annoyed (bc prime is so annoying), but also he'd feel genuine affection and attachment because prime is acting in a way that jason can relate to. who else understands how severe my pain is, and the violence required for my vengeance?

anyway i do think they'd have a really homoerotic friendship because they'd get codependent (this is what happens when ur feeling extremely lonely and have no other friends/family/support and you meet a guy who Gets you. and also one of you feels a desperate need to have ppl's love for you be Proven and the other one is essentially a yandere) but they arent Actually dating because prime is too stuck in the headspace of "i cant be gay, i have laurie!" and so he resorts to crying alone at night wishing jason was a girl instead so his Feelings toward him made sense
