verityflintâ:
Verity laughed at Alectoâs question, a lightly raised brow accompanying her smile when she looked in her direction. âYou know, I couldnât tell you the last time I tried to make any potion, nevermind a Mospus potion,â she replied humorously. Truth be told it had probably been back in school when she last attempted to make a potion from scratch, seeing so little need now when she could buy them or hire someone to do it for her. âSo youâve been sitting here studying all morning?â she questioned, a teasing tone to her voice. âWe should do something fun tonight,â she suggested.
âI guess when you put it like that it does make it sound disgustingly dull,â Alecto pulled a face knowing that there was nothing worse for her to be than dull. Her livelihood weighed in the balance of people caring about her, though the money was not of the utmost importance, the social currency was invaluable. Though it would not bode well for her to be known as the girl with her head buried in a book, she liked being up on what was going on in the world of intellectuals. They lived in a world of abundance and convenience, but Merlin knew for how long. âYes please! I havenât had a night in what feels like forever.â
