we all know neurodivergence and mental illness are common (and valid, if I really have to clarify that lol) origins for any form of nonhumanity and semihumanity. but does anyone experience the opposite? like you feel more human cause of your divergence?

so I have every symptom of BPD and most symptoms of AvPD and these make my internal/emotional life extremely hard. i also have both variations of alexithymia. so all that together, and i process/feel and express very little emotions, but when i do get emotions they're intense and distressing, and i am extremely afraid of abandonment, embarrassment, and i don't feel like it's possible for anyone to love me (insecurity + jealousy)

i'm currently having a BPD moodswing after seeing a trigger and let me tell you: i feel the most human when this happens (it happens often). i feel so small and stupid and stuck in my house. i feel a lot less like a dragon. being a dragon is how i view all the best parts of me, the healthiest parts of me, etc. but that means the worst parts are always the most human.

i also have over 30 signs and symptoms of autism (self diagnosed) and. this one is conflicting. autism sometimes makes me feel extra alien to humans, but when i'm having mental struggles related to autism, i still feel less dragon and more human anyway.

i always feel like a dragon but... neurodivergence makes me feel like a weak dragon, a faker, a worse dragon, unworthy of being one, or it just makes me suppress my draconity, resulting in it feeling weak or more human.

About your cluster B representation in media post. (I do not have Cluster B myself)

This is ironically a big reason I am afraid a character in a serie has a personality disorder, since they show a lot of signs of it, (while I did think bpd or npd at first, looking deeper into most of it adds very much with hpd, but maybe even an overlap), because even though the presentation would be good if done well..

the change that they are meant to be written irredeemable and not to be supported is big. And even if this serie might genuinely have done enough research, as much as possible with all the stigma, the change the fandom will keep villainizing them is very there.

I definitely think that a well written irredeemable villain character can be cluster b coded if it's done with proper research and handled carefully and educatedly. (Do i think any internet fandom would take this character respectfully? Absolutely not lmao.) It definitely depends on the media you're talking about, but i fear that most media, especially mainstream media, will not focus on the care that the issue needs. Most villain characters that are cluster b coded are more designed over stereotypes, misunderstandings, or real experiences and people who may or may not be diagnosed. Because of this most people don't know/care enough to WANT to handle a cluster b coded villain character in a way thst makes it clear thst their evilness is NOT because 'all cluster b people are evil'.

unfortunately the biggest problem is thst you're taking the group of people most likely to be afraid thst they are horrifically evil people, and saying Hey! You know what Fictional Character that you're Just Like? This Horrifically Evil Guy™️! it's not true. btw. for anyone at all who is reading this. your disorders do not make you irredeemable in any way.

I am always pro more personality disorder rep in pop media, but can I just say, honestly? I don't think the problem is thst there isn't enough representation, the problem is thst the representation is either bad in canon or horrifically misconstrued in fanon. Speaking specifically about cluster b personality disorders, most characters thst are coded to them are either treated in canon like an irredeemable asshole or the fandom treats them like an irredeemable asshole even if canon doesn't (thinking abt one particular show but yall ain't ready for thst discussion). Anyways I think Fandom should stop treating every cluster b coded character as automatically irredeemably evil please. For the sake of the real life people your stereotypes are negatively affecting because it is genuinely DRAINING to see most characters i relate to get called inherently evil toxic people and never ever shown any empathy
