Tink actually doesn't mind Ignihyde as a break from uproar and sideways glance at the tech kids nowadays get to. He doesn't get half of it ❤ SO it makes sense they'd meet and hang out.

Tink can be hard to get along with, so I can see them butting heads eventually, but not too seriously. Nothing that a good prank done together towards Idia can't fix!

Been thinking of pre-NRC Conrad and crew stuff....

☆ Conrad being beside himself, unable to stop smiling wide as he commissions his new ship. His ship. It cost him every treasure he got until then, and a lot of things he wanted were out of budget, but the first time he set foot aboard it he knew it was worth it.

☆ Tink stopping on a small farm as he travels. Seeing the way the owner treats everyone, cruelly and selfishly, and deciding to do something about it because it pissed him off. Both disappear for good the next morning, no trace left behind. They do say fairies kidnap unlucky humans now and then.

☆ "There is no place in a ship for women." Because their old captain thought that, Ruby ended living a year with Krok in his cave. It was... not ideal, and she was not a fan of living with a crocodile monster, but he turned out to be kinder than expected. After a year together they had become fast friends and Ruby announced they were dating. Both Conrad and Krok were surprised. ("Why are you surprised!?" "ó w ò ;??????")

☆ Conrad, Ruby and Mr. Smythe raiding a village, harming only the village's lord. The take every painting and antique of his, but leave behind the money the lord gleefully stole from the people. "I'm not interested in such crude treasure. You can split it among yourself for all I care." said Conrad.

☆ Mr. Smythe having been raised by the ship's doctor, taking in the trade. Not out of love, but of practicality, someone must fill the role when he's gone. "A doctor can't hesitate, you pulse has to be firm or it'll cost lives." A sure hand both in surgeries and executions.

☆ Because Conrad wants to live authentically to himself, he pushes others to live truthfully too. The reason Ruby and Mr. Smythe supported his mutiny. In their new ship Ruby can finally be herself, indulge in small joys and her gunsmithing. And while Smythe buried his emotions deep, deep down long ago, Conrad was the only person to consider Smythe's well being above his usefulness. To never question that Smythe, indeed, has feelings at all.
