More holiday gifts from 2017, haha.
First time ever attempting letters (typography?), there’s things I would change but overall pretty pleased with how it came out. This was a gift for my sister.

Don’t think I ever shared these little holiday gifts I made back in 2017 for some coworkers. Painted lil pots with that copper ink and sent em all home with some tiny succulents. Last I heard, two of the people still had the original plants doing well (in larger containers, I assume).
Hey everyone
Wanted to upload a few of my fav pet portraits from 2017-2018.
All of these are watercolor and ink on 9 x 12 watercolor paper
Pet portraits are very special and important projects that I love to work on, though they can be a challenge because it’s vital to capture the personality of an animal someone’s known for years in just a portrait made from a few reference photos. Still, they’re probably my favorite types of commissions.
Hey everyone! I’ve neglected social media for a bit in the con crunch hole I’ve been in lately. Got some really exciting new prints though! Prints, shirts, and stickers will be with me at megacon and anything else I’ll ACTUALLY be setting up an online store to sell this time around. So I’ll slowly update this art blog with stuff I’ve been working on and new developments. But for now I am LOVING these foil prints.
Playin around with ideas and coyotes >:)
A few of my favs from the final days of Inktober. First time I’ve finished all 31 days, which feels like an accomplishment. If you’re interested in seeing all of them they’re over on Instagram (@underbirdie) Here we have my Halloween costume this year (found a pumpkin that was large enough for my head so that was fun), a raccoon skull buddy, a fancy elk guy, and a lil cosmic creature friend. Loving the iridescent inks if you couldn’t tell.
Picked up some gold and silver ink on clearance and wanted to play around with them. And what’s not to love about these big beautiful birbs
More Inktober friends
More Inktober drawings! Really enjoying the copper ink and brush lately.
Paeonia lactiflora. Breaking out the red and black inks now. Inktober 9.
Inktober 8. That copper ink!!!! Loving it. Working on space suits that look more like plug suits (but that’s great) and coyote ghost having some Fashion. Feeling more confident in messing up and moving on.
Inktober 7. Picked up some new coppery ink to play with and I am LOVIN IT. Getting a more solid idea for the haunted protag of a little story I'm working on.
I am sooo out of practice on drawing and especially using ink lately. Figured the only way to fix that is to draw and continue drawing, even if I hate them. So here's Day 1-4 of Inktober. Workin on sad space navigators and talking ghosts and also, my cat who keeps getting fatter despite her diet.
I know what happens to tears in space
Messing around in a new art program (is anyone familiar with Mischief for the surface pro 3?) while “taking notes” in class lmao. I want to write a short comic about closure starring women in space in the future. So here I’m working on developing the characters.
It's been a while since I uploaded anything here. Been busy with my last semester before graduating! Working on filling up a sketchbook though, so I'll be able to post drawings from that at least. Hope everyone is doing good.
Quick warm up doodle. I played a lot of pokemon go this summer. got a lot of sun this summer. school starts soon and I’m not so excited for that :/
